It is great to have the klein color system. According to its color, it is made of different types of metal depending on its hardness. In terms of softness, yellow stands out. I then saw a red light. That is one of the hardest blues.
As far as I know, they don't come with factory seal packages at Home Depot
In this case, tape pulling is present as well as crimping. You make such a good point in your

It has been decades since I used a pair of Klein NE style lineman's pliers. The Journeyman 2000 series with the hardened cutters are the ones I switched to when Klein first introduced them, and I have been happy with them since then. The Klein lineman's pliers have always satisfied me, I have tried other brands over the years and they just don't feel right to me so I have stuck with them. The narrower head of the NE style pliers is very appealing to me as well as the smooth grips of the Journeyman grips feel great in my hands, With the type of abuse they receive every day, the standard cutters just won't be able to take the abuse. I'll only buy the 2000 series with the hardened cutters. There are a couple of things that seem to be the default all-in-one pliers for my lineman From hammer, conduit reamer, nail and screw cutter, messenger cutter, wire scraper, and acorn wrench, there is a tool to suit your needs. Furthermore, they include the crimper die that is handy for crimping Buchanan’s, which is often required for connecting equipment ground lines and other non-metal connections. A crimp terminal with an insulator.
Klein has such a poor quality control system. It is not even close to parallel to have cutting jaws. It is disappointing that you let me down after I spent so much money on your best lineman's pliers. In my role as a lineman, I am responsible for the safety of others and myself. You betrayed me by failing to live up to my expectations. On the same day, I purchased a pair of @Knipex. I like the way the Germans kicked you in the shins! Make up your mind to be sorry. The supervisors who facilitate these works should be fired, and the workers should be retrained to a higher standard. MAGA you slackers!
How come there are only 1 star? They were delivered a day late by Amazon!.
We also purchased models from Knipex and Irwin that were comparable. The cutting blades on the jaws of these tools didn't completely close, meaning that you could see daylight through them when they were "closed". I really wanted to like them, but I had to return them. After just a few hours of use, both the knipex and Irwin felt looser and more comfortable. I did not measure the opening width of the knipex, but it seemed to open the widest. All the three of them were subjected to a series of test crimps and splices. They all crimp the same way and they all pull fish tape the same way, it seems to me. With 10-Way cutters, it was hard to tell whether the cutting power was better or worse Cable with a diameter of 14 ga. Perhaps the KNIPEX cut slightly better than the Irwins because it opened widest and spread the most. A dealbreaker was the fact that the jaws of the cutting machine did not close all the way on the kleins. My final decision was to send back the Kleins and Irwins as well as the Knipex.
In order to be clear, this review is about the Klein J2000-S This model has Journeyman grips and the 2000 series, which allows it to cut materials hardened beyond cutting. A crimper and a fish tape puller are also included. I can't find any flaw in this pair. Machined and polished perfectly, has a zero gap in the side cutter jaws, a crosshatched area in the nose that closes up tight but doesn't touch (for safety), and has a tight, smooth riveted joint that automatically opens through compression. The door does not need to be broken in and nothing is amiss. The Klein All-In-Ones are one of Klein's most expensive models, but they do everything. Cutting soft AND hardened materials, crimping terminals, pulling flat fishing tapes are made simple with this tool. Linemans need to be replaced often, so you may as well spend the money on these and save elsewhere.
There is no journeyman logo on the back side of the pliers that came with my Journeyman Klein's. Otherwise, it is what I have come to expect from Amazon, that you do not always get what is shown in the pictures and also stated on the listing of the item. In general, Klein tools are absolutely fantastic, especially when it comes to electrical work. According to the reviews I have read, I love my Klein products, but Knipex makes a product/tool that is equal to or better than them.
The ones we paid for aren't the ones we got! They even don't have the same model number. The more expensive ones were still charged to me. I am not at all happy with this! As if they'd been swapped out, you can even see them. Despite showing contours for the handles on the packaging, the pliers sent were not able to fit within I will be returning this!.
If you don't, you're in trouble. A lineman should be able to provide everything you need and more. Knipex's stuff is way better for the same price, which is why I'd recommend it over these.
