Questions & Answers

The D2388 cutters are capable of cutting none. Is it possible to cut this safety wire to 041" without damaging it?

The Klein lineman pliers are hardened, but I don't know if they are. In your discussion, I assume you are referring to a guy cable that is central to a triangular shaped device Can you explain what plex cable is? Most cable cutters will be damaged by this steel cable. The answer to that question is that, although they are described as "induction hardened", I would not take the risk. Furthermore, I would think a pair of hardened Klein lineman pliers would be much more effective for this undertaking. It is all I can tell you that I have used these pliers in hard-core applications, and they manage to Due to their offset feature, they can be used to pry over hammered staples on Romex. A tiny offset is present in the diagonals I purchased (I bought them). My son also bought one for himself after I fell in love with it.

What are the current statuses of What are the features of a curved handle on an 8 pliers?

It was around a year ago when I bought mine, so I assume they still exist. It's impossible to imagine them ever running out of them because they're so popular. Klein's best seller is sure to be a hit.

What is the maximum diameter of 3/4" cable that this cutter can handle?

You can make it through 3/4" cable but you might have to make two cuts to do it.

What are the chances they would cut copper rivets with a thickness of 3mm or 1/8"?

The copper works well with it

Don't be foolish
3/5

Have used this product for years at a professional level and have always had great success with it. In addition, the latest ones I got seem to be made of weaker steel because they've become dull over just two months, and yesterday, I dropped them on asphalt and they ended up breaking about a quarter inch from the tip. As I am venturing away from Klein, as it appears we have a copycat on our hands, I am hoping to find a pair of quality shoes.

These pliers are great
5/5

According to 2017, the year had begun. Present day and 2020 are not comparable. There are no other brands who have developed side cutters the way Klein has. This is one of the most durable, sharp, and easy to use side cutters in the world. Kinipex side cutters have never been used by me, but if I had to choose between them, Klein would still win. The following changes were made to the Feb 2020 edition I replaced the pliers I reviewed and used with Knipex side cutters after the pliers I reviewed were stolen. Despite the fact that I completely agree with the review of the Klein pliers I bought, to compare my Knipex pliers with anyone's Klein pliers just seems While I owned one pair of Klein pliers, they were among my favorites. If you compare those to those you buy today, the Klein pliers at that time might have been of better quality. There are two separate pairs of Klein pliers my brother bought and their blades do not line up properly, meaning that cutting material requires greater effort. My pliers in 2017 wouldn't compare to those I own today. I would not buy the exact same pair of Klein pliers today. It is safe to leave it at that the 2017 pliers were 5 stars. Buy Knipex, recommended by me, if you are a reader of this review.

Jaws are hardest for cutting, and they are easily opened and closed
5/5

There are a few cutters of this type in my collection. Some of the Linesman pliers I own are Klien, Proto, and Snap-On They are the ones that seem to have the toughest edges of all The Snap-Ons do not show indents or deformations anywhere where the Snap-Ons are attached It is done on and by Proto 8" linesman.
The Klein Linesman are quite heavy and my second choice.
The Snap-On is my third choice. It is difficult to open and close with one hand.
The Vintage Proto work well and are a good size, but have developed dents in the cutting edges over time. Nonetheless, they have been utilized quite a bit more than This Kliens product has been used to put nails and thick wire bindings to the test. It doesn't matter how they're treated they take it.
It is possible to fit the tips in tight places where a Linesman plier won't fit because of the jaws' smaller size. The tool should be of high quality.

What I am saying is
5/5

Currently, Klein is the only known member. What I am saying is. Currently, Klein is the only known member. Describe your question in as many words as you can. The update was made on November 28. My Klein's were recently used by someone. They said, "Man, where did you buy those. ". You're doing great with these! These cutters saved mine and my wife's dogs lives. My wife trained our standard poodle with a choke collar, and these cutters saved them both from death. I would not recommend it. My jaw dropped as I sat on the back deck and he began to floppily shake. My feet were pinned to the deck as I jumped down from the tree. It was stuck in a crack where the collar ring had fallen. He was cut off from the oxygen completely by the chain. My wife was holding him still and I requested some slack to be added to the chain after she hollered for me. Thank goodness I have a system of "everything in its place & everything in its place & everything in its place". My Klein's were in the tool closet when I ran to them. As if the chain were butter, the Kleins sliced through it. Seeing my wife cry tears of joy brought me great Firstly, here's 1. I recommend that you buy some Klein cutters. Never use a choke collar on an animal. Know where you put them. There's a high likelihood of death.

You don't need to know any more about it, it's just a klein
5/5

With most klein tools, these work as well as they should and I expect them to last for decades to come. This is another pair of these that my father passed down to me (along with a lot of other Klein tools) and they are well over 30+ years old. He used them in his days as an electrician and construction worker, and they are still in excellent condition. Having personally experienced the great performance of his Klein tools over the years, I now only buy Klein tools myself. This type of product costs a premium, but it will probably last a lifetime, or even longer. As far as tools are concerned, I follow my dad's philosophy - I pay a premium today and only have to worry about.

I need the Kleins
5/5

Give them to me. As a young apprentice, I was told by a journeyman electrician that the title refers to the two phases of construction. I took a different career path later, but I still value the quality of Klein hand tools, which are used by electricians, linemen, and techs of every stripe. Well designed and durable tools are worth the extra money you spend. You can't go wrong with these Klein diagonals.

These tools are the best of all time
5/5

My favorite kline tools are their drill bits and my favorite kline products work as they should and would last forever if I didn't do stupid stuff and cut live wires! I should not have shocked myself with that discovery, but pliers with burn notches are useless! Failures of my own doing, not those of the product.

The Kleins are here! You know what you're getting and you know what you're going to pay because it's Klein
5/5

The quality of the cutter is excellent. I have cut so many wires, tie wraps, and other things and have almost always lost them on site (or had them stolen) before they broke. No pair of shoes has ever broken in my hands. There has never been a time when I got hand strain while using this product.
