Do Klein tools now all come from China, or is that the case only for ?

Made in the USA, these needle nose pliers are designed to help you with your projects. As of yet, I have not seen a Chinese Klein tool, but most companies outsource in an effort to reduce costs. It would be great if quality didn't decrease if this happens. My favorite thing about Klien tools is their made in USA, plus the durability they have. I have Klein setback cutters that have been in service for 19 years. Most of the tools I use are Klein and Malco. My only Klein tool that needs to be replaced due to wear and tear is the Some of my tools have aged well and have been out in the rain with me over the years. Just spray some WD-40 on it and it works perfectly.

A great product with a great price My long-term plier supplier makes a fair priced product
5/5

I've used a lot of long-lasting pliers over the past 30 years Pliers with a long nose A wide range of products is available, from cheap made-to We've gone from China stuff to Craftsman to Channel Locks now to There is no comparison for me when it comes to the Kleins. Klein hand tools are top-notch in quality, as shown by my example, which has a nice pivot and no axial play in the jaws. The blades are quite sharp, and the craftsmanship is superb, as with all my Klein tools. While providing you with the leverage and torque needed, the 7 inch size has a nose that enables you to fit in tighter spots. It's worth mentioning that I also like the yellow grips because these are my most frequently used grips My bag or pouch always contains the used pliers in the same color, which makes it easier for me to find them. My hand just fits the best in these For anyone looking to purchase any type of pliers, please visit your local tool stores and figure out what grip and size will work best for you. The plain dipped handles are my favorite and I prefer them to the overmolded grips that seem to be popular today. Also, I have never been a big fan of the spring season It's more convenient to use the loaded version, since I need to reposition my grip or grab another tool while the tool remains closed. In addition, I appreciate that these handbags are made in the United States from American-made materials I support American manufacturing whenever possible, and will go out of my way to support it. These pliers are extremely good, and while I was not able to buy them cheaply, they are worth every penny I paid for them, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

It is not symmetrical for jaws to ground
4/5

It has been noted that the jaws are not symmetrically ground. It is difficult to pick out the right pair of pliers when buying tools online. If I picked them out in a store, I would have gone with something else. If I had looked through the stock, I would have either bought a jaw that was ground so both jaws were the same thickness, or I would not have The process they use to manufacture product has a fundamental defect. I cannot understand why this is done so sloppily. I don't like how it looks.

Making a difference in the world quality control issues
3/5

They seemed like decent pliers, albeit a bit pricey, with long, slim and seemingly robust jaws, but I returned them because one tip was about one third the thickness of the other and would have been susceptible to snapping when I do not know how something so obvious passed muster at Klein's factory, but I know I've had a hard time buying US-made products in the past. The same problems with quality control caused the tools to be made available online. arrived coated with black oily residue smelling of gasoline, but I suspect that's a seller/return issue, not Klein's).

The best electrical tool out there
5/5

My job requires me to use these pliers on a daily basis. It is my profession to work in the HVAC field. Whenever I install or replace an electrical component, I always check the connection and remove the spade connector or wire to check capacitors, contactors, thermostats, motors, breakers, circuit boards, etc. Whenever I am in a bind, I can use the cutters to cut and strip wire without pulling out When they get wet while working, they sometimes get a better view. They will loosen up when you spray them with some WD40. Every so often, I lose them and need to buy new ones. I wish they would last forever, but I have to buy new ones every time. It is possible for this to happen when working in dark places such as attics or basements. Those who hit live power will have welded marks on their bodies. The wire cutter even melted when I accidentally cut a 120v wire. I never got electrocuted whenever any of this happened so this tool saved my life. The company warns that it will not protect against electrical shock, but that is to protect them from litigation. With my nut driver in my back pocket, this one is easier to fit into my pocket compared with the journeyman version. This is not meant to be used for tightening bolts, so I've never tried it that way. The products are strong and reliable, so I would recommend them to anyone doing technical work.

There is a poor quality control system
3/5

The two pair I purchased are the same. A passing grade was earned on one. I own another set of needlenose pliers that are worse than the others. There is a problem with pliers The two items must be aligned in order to be opened or closed. The pair must have made it through quality control in some way. As a Klein fan I used to hold this company in high regard, but my opinion has changed since discovering that my screwdriver was not made in the USA (it was made.

It's a good tool that works well! The products of Klein are known for their quality and the fact that they are made in the US is a nice bonus
4/5

The only thing I don't like is how the outside of the tool is finished. The surface is rough and there is no attempt to polish or grind it A very high level of polish and grinding has been applied to the surface of the work. I just wanted to let you know. A tool that performs well but needs extra work to make it "look good" would end up being more expensive. It was a very good purchase and I am happy with it.

This tool fits well in the hand, is sturdy and is just what you need to accomplish the task
5/5

I love the tool, it fits my hand, it's sturdy and does the job well. If I stay on top of it and keep it oiled, it should last for a very long time. The previous reviews have said there were no flaws or manufacturing errors. I would like to thank you for sending me this set of needle nose pliers and I am very happy to have it in my collection. It is most challenging to keep the tool and make sure it does not seek new There will be no shortage of demand. Klein has created yet another quality tool. The quality of the product you get is dependent on its price.

A good needlenose pliers that is worth the price
5/5

The same way that I find Klein tools to be the best in their fields, this one is also excellent. from Klein stands out over store brands, as it is robust for a long period of time. This enables them to produce needles that are extremely fine, yet incredibly strong. An instrument for gripping the nose. There is a very good knurling on the face of the jaws, which is capable of gripping just about anything that fits. There are several other pairs from other brands I own, but none of them can live up to these.
