Use it correctly to get the best results
4/5

A short distance is rolled back and forth on the tube by pushing firmly. The glass will be scored when you push it hard enough to hear a grinding sound. There is only one short mark that needs to be made on one side of the tube, not all You should use gentle pressure to break the tube while holding the score mark away from your face.

You should save your dollars, this is a poor-quality product
3/5

It was a pleasure doing business with the seller. I received my package very promptly, it was packaged perfectly, and it was in perfect There is nothing good about the product, it is of Using the same blade to cut 2mm boro glass twice resulted in dull cutting. I think I'd be able to do a lot better with a lot The tube is much thinner than it used to be. But the shot was never deep enough to lead to a goal. It was hard to even get a slightly clean cut on either tube. The tubes just broke as if they had not been scored at all. In addition, the game is slow and janky, so you have to keep your eye on the Thank you for the deal, but hopefully you did not steal the item sold for such a cheap price.

The glass does in fact get scored
3/5

This tool was very tricky to use for me, and I found it difficult to get a reliable even line without wrapping some sort of guide around the work or it would wobble and make a 'spiral cut' around the piece making it very problematic to get a nice clean Although I did acquire the material I needed out of it, it turned out to be much more work than I Even though I had this for one project, I don't know if or when I'll require it again. I guess if I practiced I would eventually get the hang of it, but I bought it for one project and I don't know when I'll need.

Cutter for glass tubing that is simple to use
4/5

The glass tubing cutter shown here is a scribing type. To cut glass tubing, you insert it into the cutter and place the scribe wheel where you want to cut the tube. Apply a scant amount of pressure to the cutter as you rotate the glass tube. Simply snap the tubing between your two hands between the scribed lines using leather gloves and the glass will come apart. It may take a little practice, but once you get the hang of it, it will be pretty easy. In my experience, the cutter appears to be made quite well for the price. I make a perfect cut over 90% of the time, and I'm not exactly an expert in the field.

With the ease of using this glass tube cutter, you can make a professional job out of this project
5/5

For being a rookie, I was a little afraid of using it. YouTube videos on how this product works helped me see how easy it is to use. You might not have seen it exactly the same on YouTube but it's close enough just grind with the device on top half of the glass tube make a snap with your fingers and you're good to go. You're.

Heavy glass or boron will not work with this product
3/5

Even if you push hard enough to score the glass, the cutter cannot score it without pushing really hard. If you push hard enough to score the glass, the not cutting end without a blade scores the glass as well. As yet, I have not been able to take a clran break. In the cradle end, a piece of felt or cloth may be helpful. I found the price to be reasonable, but I will not be able to use it for my purposes. I have not tried it with pyrex, but perhaps soft glass would work.

The waste of money is incomprehensible
3/5

The waste of money is incomprehensible. I was not even able to score the acrylic tube I was trying to cut. The following product will not track in the same direction as you spin the tube in a circle so that it can score ( cut into). I will spiral down the tube as you spin it. The now useless object sits in my trash bin as a paperweight.

It works great! I like it a lot! have pointed out, keep the tube from slipping (up/down) so that it does not get spiral cut marks
5/5

My next experiment will be to add some cushioning material to the cavity where the tube rests, perhaps this will stop the tube from Rubber material does not stick as much as something else.
