Questions & Answers

In the description of thin wall steel tubing, there is mention of it. are the thickest (wall) steel pipes thickest (wall) steel tubing you all have cut?

In addition to knowing the thickness, it is also my experience cutting electrical metallic tubing with it that does not present any issues.

these #5 or #10 cutters are it shown #10 in picture?

It's not the correct picture. It's an older version of Ridgid and not a Model 15. This car is not an updated Model 10.

It is like an adjustment knob and it works by tightening cutters, so it should be easy to do. There was a difference in appearance between old Blk-colored and cutters-colored. ?

My knob measures quite heavy, black plastic. It's not always a good idea but hasn't caused any trouble.

Are these scissors supposed to s stainless steel pipe?

My son and I cut the stainless steel tubing on the heavy machine we use on our home turf. It takes a wall pipe to fill a hole.

One of the world's major heavy duty military exercises
4/5

Wow. The weight of this thing is enormous. duty. As mentioned before, I have been looking forward to my 40 year old National finally retiring; I ordered this because of the GID name and because of the reasonable price. Hopefully, it will last. A mechanical process is typically less. People with an advanced knowledge of these techniques are unlikely to read the instructions, so they most likely aren't interested in them. This replaces the original cutting wheel in the handle, if you did not read yours. It is cool that they have done this for me.

This is a smooth, clean cut, but I did find some problems
4/5

A spare wheel or screwdriver can not be used while using the tool FELL APART. I will give you a general overview of the cutter and the fencepost work, since it was able to work pretty well on two 2" EMT conduits (steel conduit) and on the two 16 ga steel chainlink railings. This material will work. A model like this also ships with heavy duty steel cutter wheels for thin-walled applications (something that 32940 does not ship with). Steel tubing on the wall is made from flat steel. At first, most cuts tasted butter, if the wheel had been broken up, as such. For horizontal fence posts, the in" cut procedure was slower and I saw it spiral a little more when I practiced using it. Metal is the only material other than galvanized steel that I tested with the cutter. We have many problems. The Intel processor 32950 has two problems, according to me. A spare cutter wheel cannot be provided, the wheel is not included in this item. An indication the Ridgid tool might have been installed right in front of the handle or knob could be seen. However, you couldn't drill or tap the hole and the Ridgid literature was ambiguous, citing only "a spare", but the catalogs did not indicate if you were receiving As a result, Ridgid has a problem communicating. I corrected Amazon's description to reflect that the "part of the design comes with a spare cutter wheel", but they refused to change it from "includes spare cutter wheel. ". My tool lost a screw shortly after that. This is the shoulder bolt that serves as a buffer between the cutters wheel and its pivot while its bolt is removed mid-air. A hill is where we can roll, since the cutters wheel goes down and I tripped on this hill when my cutter wheel dropped. It is my responsibility to find the cutter wheel, not the bolt (a minus one). Remember the fact that I only cut two dozen times with the brand new tool. After ending the project and heading to the hardware store in search of a bolt that nearly finished the job for me. The tool lasted longer due to Amazon, and they Refunded me at the last minute with a refund.

It is a useful tool on one side
5/5

A steel pipe that was 2 inches diameter. I had two canvas wall tents made from this. I also cut electrical conduit pipe for the frame of each tent with this one. Using this tool is a great job for a professional, because it is sturdy, well made, and completely reliable. Because the blade moves quickly through all the steel pipes, I changed the blade once for any additional pipes that would need to be cut. After the outside of the cut has been rolled out, no burrs can form on the outer rim of the fresh cut; the entire diameter has been rolled out once cut. Now that that's nice. But the rolled steel does have to come into an opening and this can be dangerous, so you may want to look into the Ridgid brand demurring tool. As you can see, this works great for me: I also bought it at Amazon. Reamer made of stainless steel with high quality and durable quality by RIDGID 29983 223S. A regular foot by one inch is 1 inch. 1/4- A thin inner or outer blade makes it more convenient to cut your fingers while holding a shaver in one hand. You may experience some suck when doing that.

Cutting two and three quarters of an inch of conduit is quite simple
5/5

Despite its ease of use, this tool can cut half and three quarters. There is a risk of cutting or tearing the insulation of the wire since it leaves a burr, and after reaming, you must rewire. Since copper tubing is similar to that used with a cutters, my experience in the industry makes sense. If you try to pull a cutting wheel through metal, be sure to rotate the tool as you would a cutting wheel. Through these measures, it takes a longer time for a wheel to die and requires less cutting.

I ordered the best item
5/5

When I was looking for the machine for tubing that was made of PVC or soft metal, I found this. After buying a small cutter for 8 instead of the original size I wanted, I didn't reduce the dia to 1/2". Give just one dollar of your time and support our effort. As with all Ridgid models, the Opening model can accommodate 2 players. Fast, easy to handle and does all I need within seconds. With the value this tool offers, a blade can easily be replaced whenever necessary, and it should last for a long time. Buying this item will make you feel confident that you are getting a reliable product.

It takes only a jigger to cut holes in tubes
5/5

Plumbing tools like this are of the highest quality and professionally used. One- I'm not sure, but I'm not certain what. The following information cannot be provided given by the star reviewer:

- A lifetime warranty applies to Ridgid tools.
- Three screws hold on to the cutter wheel. In the event that the tool did not break down, it could be broken down but should then be re-assembled by you, o As long as I meet the qualifications, I expect to qualify for this position. A duty is a high cost. As an amateur, it was great to be able to afford this quality tool with a great price (as well as having it to pass on at the local shop!). Aside from that, I found the Amazon service was excellent. I am affiliated with the merchant. Let's avoid getting into a bit of a jam. Turn the star review tool off for better results. tubing cutter that I found that is one of the most reliable, durable tubing cutters I've used and the largest diameter up to 1" ater I could find that will handle steel, copper, aluminum, and stainless steel tubing and conduit up to 1" in diameter (that's 1 1/8".

There's nothing heavier than this powerful tool
5/5

The tool can cut any existing metal conduit in or around my home as well as 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" metal plumbing pipes. Due to the fact that I'm a homeowner making general improvements, I expect that it'll last me forever, and I don't envision having to buy it again ever again for a general improvement project. My recommendation would, in turn, be to buy this tubing cutter again so that I also can use it as my standard tubing cutter.

This is the best EMT cutter I've owned so far
5/5

It's very easy to use and has the right feel to its rugged texture. Having undergone three cuts, the wheel worked even well after multiple cuts. But the rebound works, so it gets the job done. There is no better tool than this one that will last.
