I bought these to use when making wreaths with thicker mesh. To get through the mesh, I had to use a saw. I assumed it was me at first, but when I examined the item, I noticed that the anvil and the blade do not meet, leaving a gap. I was able to slip 4- How can it cut through multiple layers of mesh, the majority of which are thinner than paper, with 5 pieces of paper through the gap? To be honest, I find it completely useless. I couldn't wait to get my hands on them and try them out. I had wreaths waiting to be cut with this cutting tool! Even though I end up with hand cramps after all the mesh is trimmed, I decided to use my tried-and-true scissors. What a letdown!.
This is a very useful program. However, one of the replacement blade inserts was broken in the package, and one of the tools had a missing cutter blade, a broken anvil slide btm, and loose screws. Do you want me to carry on? At best, the tool's durability is questionable. br>Next time, make a tool in the United States.
They perform admirably for the purposes I had in mind. Fuel lines, vacuum lines, and other automotive parts, such as electrical heat protectors, are all cut during this process. The first time I used a set to cut fuel line, I was blown away by how easily it cut the rubber and how straight it was. This isn't usually a problem, but it isn't with these. The small wire cutter at the back of the blade isn't the best and doesn't work very well. The lock button is also flimsy, cheap, and not very tight, earning the cutters four instead of five stars. However, I believe the rest of the tool is quite durable, and I like the variety of blade options available.
" These are simply "okay. " "Every time I use them, they become stuck in the "closed" position, requiring me to use the release button to continue using them. They're preferable to cutting with scissors, but I wish they worked properly.
The screw came out on the third use, which made me very unhappy. The blade retainer isn't very effective. It's simple to remove the screws. It is necessary to tighten the screws on a regular basis. It was inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.
They're fantastic at cutting through a lot of the things I deal with on a daily basis. The issue is that the screws that hold it all together have come loose. Because the lock is made of plastic, it is easily broken. I bought three pairs, and two of the screws fell out, causing the entire thing to fall apart.
Excellent service at a reasonable price. It is simple to operate and can be used for a variety of cutting tasks. br>Had to get a new one so my wife would stop bothering me.
It's a great replacement for the one I had before.
