Usability It is ideal for cutting types of stranded wire rope, such as aircraft cable, seismic cable, electric cable, or structural cable, in addition to railings, decking, fences and bicycle brake cables.

Performs cutting and splicing of steel, copper, aluminum stranded cables up to 3/16" (5mm, 4AWG). We do not fan or splay in any way, nor do we squash / flatten our products The blade is razor sharp and easily and smoothly shears wire. The number of cuts made and the amount of force required are higher than competitors. Wire cutters with this characteristic cut cleanly without fraying or flowering like other wire cutters.

This blade is crafted of high-carbon steel from Japan, which is induction hardened for a clean cut the blade is hardened to HRC 60-62 for additional durability and strength. To ensure safety, a safety lock is provided. Force is transferred efficiently from the tang to the handles with the long tang. Adjustment of tension is possible due to the pivot point.

Definitely, they work on 3mm galvanized "stranded" wire and they have a clean cut.

Is there a factory where they are ?

The materials used in making these are Japanese steel and Taiwanese steel. are skilled at making blades and each bearing tool we make performs wonderfully for the application for which it was designed. Wire cutters like this one use much less force than their competition to cut the same wire (see image attached). It could be great cutters, but it is important you have a big hand

We cut stainless-steel braided wire seals off of trailers with this. I like it a lot. I like their ability to cut through braided wire with little effort and less force. The only flaw I find is that they have to be open nearly all the way before it will fit anything in the Until you have a very large hand you won't be able to get a grip around these cutters to cut anything tightly when they are fully open. I wear large size gloves and it's still pretty tricky to manage them when they are fully open. Apart from that one little complaint, everything else about these cutters is perfect.

The entire experience is worth the price

My husband attempted to replace the cable railing on our deck using a different tool that he thought would be able to effectively cut the cable. Not at all. This is what I found while on the 'Zon. The project was restarted after waiting a couple of days for them to arrive. The cable was cut like a dream with this tool. The huge undertaking became a reality with your help It can either be purchased as a stand-alone site or in a kit, complete with the cutter and the swage tool. Having it on hand will be useful.

I'm using them to cut stainless steel sheet at 1/16" thickness. The cutting action is much smoother than regular side cutters and the point does not remain sharp.
