Questions & Answers
The edges of the cutting blades are completely closed. According to Knipex, there's also a recess near the joint that helps thicker wire stay in a better cutting position.
The following are the cutting capacities for the 71 31 250 that are recommended: a maximum of 15/64- 11/64-inch medium hard wire inch hardwire; 11/64-inch diameter hardwire; 11/64-inch diameter hardwire; 11 piano wire, one inch
Over time, it will settle down.
I'm not sure, but I can tell you that these are the best wire and metal cutting tools you could ever ask for.

These things are incredible; they have the ability to cut through anything, which is a blessing from God. My friends and I went out one night to drink some beer and holler at girls. As a result of one thing leading to another, I was able to bring this lovely lady home with me. When we returned to my house, we immediately began having a good time; The next thing I know, she's putting my arm in handcuffs and tying it to the headboard; that's when things started to get crazy! $% raised my wallet from my pants pocket and made a B- lined up in front of the door "Oh no, this wasn't going to happen," I began to cry. " As I looked around my room, I noticed a Knipex mini-computer. Bolt cutters I'd ordered were sitting on the ground in the box Amazon had delivered them in, within reach of my toes. I grabbed them with my feet and was out of the cuffs in about three seconds. The cutters sliced through the steel like butter, which astounded me. I made my way down the stairwell, but it was too late; the girl had already left. When I turned around, I saw my wallet on the ground next to my Macaw parrot, who had a strand of hair stuck in his beak. As she walked away, he apparently attacked her. Knipex is the new name for my bird. What a night, and these cutters are highly recommended; You never know when you'll require their services.
Cutting screws and other small soft and hard steel is a breeze with this tool. Instead of dulling my other tools, which can cut screws and steel cable but aren't designed for it, I grab this one. Using the appropriate cutter jaws ensures that the machine is simple to operate and ergonomic. There's no need to hacksaw bolts; simply grab this up to a certain size before requiring a larger bolt cutter.
These are of incredible quality. I bought them in the hopes of never having to use them, but knowing that if I do, I'll be able to get a good product. These will be used on my boat to cut off hooks if they get stuck in a person's hand; they are not cheaply made like many others, and I don't think they will rust.
I bought them to cut fencing that I used to cut with pliers, but they were killing my hand after a few cuts, so I wish I had gotten a larger size.
Don't be put off by the name; these are the best cutters I've had in a long time. They cut through small bolts with ease, and they are clearly capable of cutting all diameters in between. So you're going to put up a chain link fence, right? It's as if *clip* were made of butter. Or if you're reinforcing a concrete pad with steel fencing? These factors contribute to the job's increased efficiency. br>br>It's one of the most useful tools I've ever purchased for myself. I'm actually kicking myself for not purchasing these sooner. They were recommended to me by a small engine mechanic, so I bought them. You definitely get your money's worth with these. When you consider how low the US dollar is, it's almost a bargain. br>br>And that is one of their characteristics. Buy them, look after them, and they'll last a lifetime. br>br>I use mine on odd projects all the time, and they always make things easier than a cheap pair of diagonal cutters. br>br>November br>br>November br>br>November br>br> 2016 Updatebr>I've had these for four years now. They have more than covered their costs. Every now and then, I apply a drop of machine oil to the moving points, but I try not to use them for larger jobs (read: abuse). and these cutters have been wonderful to me! I'm not sure if anything has changed in terms of the manufacturing process since I purchased mine, but if Knipex continues to produce high-quality cutters like these, you can rest assured that your money will be well spent. br>br>So do yourself a favor and get these right now. Later on, you'll be grateful to yourself.
I'd had enough of cutting bolts and screws with side cutters. These bolt cutters appeared to be the best value for the money after reading some reviews. They slice through anything that fits in them like butter, especially when the bolt is in the notch. Don't ruin your other cutters by using them on tough materials; these will save you time and money.
