OK, any half-decent electrician knows, or quickly learns, after using Greenlee's interchangeable holesaw kits: br>For the price of a dollar, this kitbr>- (When compared to ideal), it lasts longer.
- is half the weight of the competition in your tool bag;
- Is a high-quality knockout tool for industrial use. br>br>Amazon was unable to deliver the standard 1/2"-diameter-diameter-diameter-diameter-diameter-diameter-diameter I originally ordered a 1 1/2" kit on time, and this 1/2"-size kit arrived on time as well. Amazon's solution was a 2" kit with (2) arbors delivered the next day, one day before the original was due! br>br>Thank you, Amazon, and this kit is, without a doubt, the best in the business.
It works perfectly, has a great appearance, and is well-built. As expected from Greenlee, who consistently produces high-quality products, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Cutting holes for conduit is a breeze with this tool.
I just got my new carbide set today, and I took out the half-inch carbide to put it to the test. The cobalt steel pilot snapped before I even got to the teeth. I've used a lot of carbide cutters and never had a problem with the pilot being snapped. What a disappointment. br>br> Another week will pass before we get a new pilot.
I used it to cut 3mm thick 316 Stainless Steel with no problems, but make sure you use enough fluid to keep the bit from breaking.
