If you mean "swivel," do you mean that the hooked end of the push rod can turn? Yes, that is correct. Otherwise, I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you're asking. After my old Hilti ball bearing caulking gun, I'd say this is the best caulking gun I've ever owned. It pushes nearly as smoothly as my Hilti did. In comparison to a standard single ratio gun, I also purchased a 29oz large high ratio version, which pushes construction adhesives like soft butter.

EASY TO USE Compared to my other caulk guns, this one is a lot easier to squeeze, and it only requires a light touch when using normal to low viscosity (thinner) products. When using a high viscosity (thick) product, the effort required is comparable to that required when using a gun from a big box store with a normal to low viscosity product. br>br>FLOW STOP When I release the trigger, a small amount of product comes out. So you must trip the release if you want the flow to completely stop. This, in my opinion, is a benefit. If I want it to stop, all I have to do is press the release button with my thumb and it turns off. What I like about this little flow of product is that it helps me get my hand back to the starting (open) position when I need to release the trigger during application—the slight flow, combined with the slight pause it takes to open your hand, makes applying product more seamless (even). br>br>QUALITY This thing is built to last, and it should (I hope, but you never know). It's also pleasing to the eye. br>br>In conclusion, the SolidWork Professional Hand Caulking Gun with 26:1 ratio has exceeded my expectations. 1 caulking gun.
It's simple to use on even the most difficult caulking jobs. I've been using a concrete sealant and this caulk gun. My hand used to hurt after about two containers before I got this caulk gun. I used 9 containers after receiving this product and didn't have a sore hand! It's pricey, but it's worth it.
It functions admirably. It's simple to use, and the squeeze handle allows the liquid to flow freely without effort, but it's not drip-free. After removing the tube from the caulk gun, it still drips slightly. However, when it comes to caulking, I am still a novice. I can get by with it if I time the squeeze trigger and release bar correctly, and keep in mind that there may be some caulk oozing out. Before you use it, you should practice a little. I'm satisfied with the outcome overall.
I run a handyman business and caulk a lot of things. For a long time, I used basic caulk guns, but when my last one broke, I decided to upgrade to something that would hopefully provide more control and ease of use. After a few months of use, I can say that it's a nice step up. br>br>I've noticed that this caulking material has better flow and drip control than others. I used to have to manually release tension and slide the piston back to relieve pressure with my previous guns, but this one does a fantastic job of stopping material flow once I stop pumping. I still have to release tension with some materials, but I never have to retract the piston. br>br>The gun action is much smoother and the construction is much sturdier than any other gun I've owned. My previous guns were jerky when applying the product, but this one has a very smooth trigger pull and application. br>br>There is one thing I've noticed, but it's not a flaw in my opinion. If I have a clog in one of my old material tubes while applying it, this gun will easily apply enough pressure to break the seals in the back of the tubes if the nozzle is preventing any flow. I've already experienced this twice. br>br>I don't consider this a product defect because when using old caulking tubes, it is the user's responsibility to ensure that the tip is free of any dried material. However, if you pull the trigger in an attempt to clear the clog, the rear seal may fail, resulting in material all over the piston.
This gun's smoothness has made me very happy. The caulk is applied evenly with just a light touch of the trigger. When you let go of the trigger, the caulk will come to a halt. This was an excellent purchase.
I received it a few weeks ago and it works well and as it should. I haven't used it much yet, but I'll update my review on its longevity in a few weeks. Update: March of the year 2021 I've been using it almost every day since I started using it, and it's holding up well.
I purchased this caulking gun because it was advertised as being drip-free. The one I got isn't dripless, and unless the release button is manually operated, it leaves a mess of caulk. It's simpler to use my old "drip" gun. I was let down.
This caulking gun, on the other hand, is dripping profusely. It's absurd that I paid ten times as much for a product that drips ten times as much. Make sure you don't throw your money away!.
