How does this compare to the 28 oz tubes of greenglue? I appreciate it! ?

Yes, this is a quart gun, so it would fit 28-32 Tubes with 30 ounces of liquid.

It does one quarter. Does a piecing rod come in a certain size? Reviews seem to indicate that it doesn't have one, but the picture portrays it as having one. ?

I ordered a few weeks ago a piercing rod with the one I ordered. As far as I can tell, it's a feature of their newer models.

This is a part of the poker set, right? Can anyone who ordered one recently direct from Amazon confirm if it was as advertised? Can you imagine how other sellers would feel? I appreciate it. ?

The poker is about 4 inches in length and can be found on the back handle of my gun.

Do you think this would work for self-leveling sealant?

Tubes are okay as long as they are 29 oz

The best caulking gun I have ever owned is this large format model. The machine operates smoothly, quickly, accurately, and in a reliable manner. Any other brand would be a bad choice - There can be no sense in buying Chinese copies, no matter how cheap they are. You may as well save yourself some headaches by spending the extra money. Putting your trust in us will be rewarding.

Don't let your hands go to waste! This gun, as well as the more conventional sized one, I bought for some home remodel projects and regret not getting them sooner

One must gradually get used to them so that one does not hold the handle so tightly when getting something out, lest the contents spill all over one's face. This glue gun continues to function as new after it has been ran through several of the big PL glue cartridges. I would spend every nickel I had on that one job even if it failed.
