Questions & Answers

Does anyone have experience using urethane on automotive glass?

Thanks for reaching out. While we can't speak for auto glass urethane specifically, this gun is the best we offer since it can extrude pretty much anything. We'd appreciate it if you could let us know if you run into any problems.

Is this the case for asphalt as well? Has anyone used it before? Does it work well?

The answer is yes, there are ten. Those 1 oz. asphalt repair tubes will fit and work. The color matches the asphalt and is easy to use. Try watching a utube video on using a caulk gun if you have any difficulties.

I will be there for 3 minutes and 8 seconds. Can this gun fit tubes 5" in diameter? Approximately 5 oz?

A 3 m fence is 9 feet and does not fit an 8 m fence. The 5 inch tubes will fit, and the 10 inch tubes will fit as well. The tubes will fit a 5 oz bottle, but the majority are 4 oz. It is possible to fit them if you are 5cm

The following claim is false In the case of a return, the ratio would be 1
3/5

I do not believe) that this item has false claims, especially regarding I use it mostly for adhesive and not for things like that anymore because I'm getting old The old caulk gun, unbranded, made in China, with the same barrel size, which I calculated to have 12 twists, was a little difficult to push. Hence, I was hoping to upgrade to a caulk gun that was easier to push instead. With a 1 push ratio, the barrel is empty within 27 trigger clicks, and the piston travels for less than 7 mm with each full trigger click. During full travel, the piston will reach the end of its travel within 30 seconds A total of 31 triggers have been pushed, and Pushing the trigger full-time will move the trigger a bit more than 7 millimeters. Besides having longer trigger length, it had only a slight advantage over the other - a 10 percent (roughly) longer trigger length. In comparison with my older one, it was quite heavy, weighing around 875 grams. There is no way this thing can have If it were a 1 to 1, it would probably be closer to a 14 to 1 ratio Compared to all high end models (the european, Japanese, and American ones) the iPhone 1 is the winner. On the other hand, all 26 of them One gun prices start at double the price what this red devil offering is therefore, I guess the saying "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" applies very well in this case. You will not be able to use the The 1 Ratio claims to rival the highest-end models due to having a more rigid standard. I guess I am giving one star for their customer service because they responded to my email very quickly.

The beast is on the loose
4/5

For quite some time now I have been using $4 guns from the big box stores. As I needed to shoot some anchoring epoxy, I finally had a valid reason to buy something reasonable. This was able to handle that stuff even when it was more like thick paste in 45 degrees weather. As a fun experiment, I put the same tube in my old (cheap) gun and it wouldn't move at all. My mom also uses it for everything except caulk.

Since running epoxy with it, I use it everywhere except Despite the fact that it does not release pressure automatically after one releases the trigger, there is one disadvantage. The following pros The 26 offers serious power it's built like a tank The only con is the ratio of 1 drive to 1 drive.
It's a little difficult to control flow with thinner material*No nozzle cutter*No automatic flow control Release - Would definitely buy it again

The rod has bent
3/5

There is no way it can handle more than what it claims. when it was being sealed with a heavy/thick flashing material. It was not possible for me to apply even close to the 950 pounds of force it claims to be capable of handling. It is now possible for even the lightest weight caulking tube to rupture because of the bent rod connecting the push plate to the push plate. The item was disappointing. I was very disappointed in it.

This is a functional problem
3/5

It is as if you are trying to use expensive caulk on top of So that I can continue to do this, I am keeping it. It's been a while since I've done caulk and grout For years, he has worked in the tile industry. up this gun and hit the trigger and the depressor punches straight through the caulking, and you can see the ensuing destruction.

Adhesives with high viscosity are good for this
5/5

When I need a caulk gun, I usually get the cheapest one I can find. The first time I used Loctite polyurethane adhesive was for the first time in my life There was a fast-grad type of caulk and it was so stiff that my caulk gun would not pull the caulk from People are saying that the caulk in the tube is old and solidified - I saw this a lot here The problem was that they were using a cheap caulking gun to apply the caulking. Anyhoo, I thought I would really need fast grab caulk for the project I was working on, so I purchased this gun since it had a very good ratio of 26 at an extremely good price. It did work much better with the fast grab caulk. The tube was actually pushed out of it by the machine. Although it may have made adhesive easier to work with, it did not make it any less irritating (but that's not the caulk gun's fault.

Highly recommended for anyone working with urethane (and other viscous).

This is such a great idea! These caulk tubes are long enough to fit extra long It's a rather messy job because we live in renovation projects (currently on number 3) and so we put a lot of caulk on the roof and walls
5/5

When I bought this caulk gun, I had previously bought a caulk gun that was similar in price (a little cheaper), but it was way too small to hold the silicone caulk that we use (had to wrestle the canisters in and out), and I got frustrated. This new one is so much better than the old one! I'm still so mad that I put up with it There is no doubt that this one will work like a charm. It is great that a trigger is triggered There is no doubt that the hun is assisting me and making it easier to squeeze out the caulk. (Recently, I had to squeeze a lot of silicone caulk in cold weather, and my arms did get tired- This works well enough for most of what I do!) It also doesn't leak much when your finger is removed from the trigger, and you don't have to turn the hook thing in back to release the caulk pressure. There is no cutter attached to it It is your responsibility to bring your own scissors. The caulking seals are broken using a poker included on this machine. The tubes don't need to be inserted and removed from the gun anymore!.

The caulking gun I was looking for has arrived
5/5

My job involves remodeling, so I've purchased so many caulking guns. I buy the most expensive ones I can find because I want one that will crush the stiff adhesive out without slipping, but they all fail to live up to my expectations. The one I had twenty years ago that I loved had been stolen and ever since I have been searching hardware stores. It will certainly push anything with ease if you use this gun. It is my pleasure to work with.

Now is the time to get one! This is very good, I wish I would have bought one You don't need to waste your time on those cheap disposable caulking guns from the supermarket
5/5

Even though the tank is heavy-duty, it is able to deliver 2 part epoxy and standard painters caulk just as well. It is a small caveat, but thinner products require you to release tension when resting, or else material will slowly come out of the seams.
