My piston just fitted in a 10 oz tube after I changed the size of it a few years ago. It works great as long as you keep the tube straight up until the tip ends touch the cradle ends.
When it comes to big jobs, I only use this gun However, even then I set its flowrate to the lowest possible. Unfortunately, I cannot answer your specific question with absolute certainty, but I would suggest checking the flow rate dial, making sure your caulk / material is warm enough, and lastly, making sure it is not old and hardened. That was a problem for me. Last, not sure where this will lead, but you might want to try the tube in a hand-held caulking gun to see if it behaves. Based on intuition (the process of solving problems over the Internet can be dodgy), I think it has more to do with the caulking tube This tool runs very fast so just keep that in mind! I find that it is particularly helpful on bigger projects, like roofing. It is so safe to say I don't even use it because it is so "stable". However, I love the tool at the end of the day. I wish you the best of luck!
Estimating it to be in the range of 800-1,000

It worked for me when I tried the Dewalt website (good luck) and was directed to Denver Dewalt's customer You can reach them by dialing There are 922 A caulk gun could only be converted to shoot sausage using the parts they could sell. It is not permitted to use raw sausage in construction. To see if they could sell the parts to convert the larger gun to use the 10 ounce tubes, I called them again. Moreover, I was told only that I could shoot sausage after I got the parts. After ordering the gun for 29 oz tubes, I discovered that it is almost identical to the caulk gun other than the tube holder and plunger. There is no difference between the manuals for "both" guns, and even a reference to transposing to other tubes is included. What does this mean if a worker drives over the plastic front end of either size gun and it cannot be fixed by getting a few replacement There are a lot of things I like about DeWalt tools, but this one gets my goat! A larger adhesive gun cost me about $225, yet I received very little in exchange, aside from some parts and a run-through of the software Dewalt can tell you where these parts can be found.
If they care, they can point you in the right direction. In the near future, if they don't care, I'll go back to Makita and Bosch.
possess a log cabin, and it's about time for some maintenance to seal it properly. We're talking miles of seams here. By using this tool, I was able to apply Log Builder caulk in large tubes that were much easier to use than a caulking gun. First weekend after I bought it, I used it and saved my arms from damage. You may need to practice with it for a bit before you start a project. It took some finesse to coordinate the setting and release time. There are two positions on the trigger one for letting up and one for letting go. Do not keep the trigger pressed when you are using stiff caulk or you will blow the My experience there has been positive. The task has been completed. You can see it all over the caulk. The trick is to do it a little at a time. My kit included two batteries and a charger kit, and I estimated that this gun could do 1500 FEET of 1/4 inch beads on ONE battery, and it showed that it was over half charged when I used it. Purchase this now, and you will be glad you did.
Using this tool is like giving birth to a new baby. It scares the crap out of you when you see the price tag. The thought of it intrigues you, but you are uncertain of your desire. But let me tell you, you're never going to know how much you'll love it until you've actually got it in your hand. There is a $15 manual gun, but it's quite expensive. It can be done with a gun that costs $20. Caulk or adhesive work can be difficult if you do a lot of it. If you get this gun, your life will be forever changed.
The program works perfectly! Caulking large 29 oz tubes can be hard to squeeze with a manual gun. The 21 oz Dewalt caulk dispenser works with all sorts of medium caulk tubes, making your job easy. biggest criticism I have is that the plastic nut that holds the tube holder to the gun often comes loose causing the gun to jam when the tube is crooked. In my opinion, I like how it retracts the plunger a little bit to prevent caulk from spilling out after each use.
An automatic weapon. The game is hard to slow down enough, so I give it four stars. I've found that if you make the tip opening really small, it has a tendency to shoot out very fast. It's much better to be in a position where you can move the gun very quickly, otherwise you'll use way too much of the The tube is still worth having, since I soon learned that removing large tubes of construction adhesive by hand is rather taxing. Moreover, I assumed that a separate carriage for holding smaller tubes would be included, but it is not.
Besides the fact that it's fun, what's not to love? In lieu of buying expensive wrist braces, consider buying this. If you install hundreds of feet of vinyl cove base per day, your wrists will be grateful. The device does not use batteries, and the speed can be adjusted. Just make sure to let the pressure out before you lay it down or the liquid will leak The reason why I bought this was that my carpal tunnel is getting worse. Even rolling it on is a tiring task, but when my caulk guns locked up, it was even more difficult. Guns like this one are worth every penny!.
In my driveway, I wanted to add self-leveling caulking to the expansion joints, so I purchased this DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Caulking Gun. I'm impressed with how this tool works and provides the ability to control a lot of flow. During the three 29oz tubes that I manually squeezed before getting the gun, I was worried that my hands would lock shut from all the triggering I had to do by hand. I was able to easily complete 8 caulking tubes with this cordless caulking gun that worked perfectly it is easy to load and use as well. Getting out of the driveway before it went dark was a challenge. In case you are going to apply a lot of caulk or adhesive, I would highly recommend this Dewalt gun.
This is a great gun, but only works with the larger contractor tubes (30oz). It is too big for the smaller home tubes to fit inside the push plate. The idea of four plates would be a huge improvement if they were available in two sizes.
