Questions & Answers

Does this steel look like it's forged from one piece or is it riveted to the frame?

The item is not riveted, but it is not forged based on what I see. It's so beautiful, I'm going to try to take a close up pic of it. Though I don't know how it is attached, I can tell you that it doesn't come loose or slide around when I use it.

I'm here. Are you able to tell me what material is used to make the head? Do you know whether it is If the climate is high in humidity, does it rust fast?

The high tensile steel and its resistance to atmospheric corrosion are the reasons for my choice. This is a very sharp knife. modern version of the weeding tool used by the Vietnamese hill people. Whether the Japanese have a connection to the people or they just borrow the idea is not clear to me.

What would it be like to use this with a left handed person?

The system has been designed to cater to right-handed users Because my dominant hand is right-handed, I must use it this way It is hand-held. I would still be able to use it even if its geometry was reversed, but its use would not be optimal. You may be able to find a tool for lefties Right-handed people would probably find it to be better, but as a "lefty" you may just find it easier to get used to using right-handed Tools that can be used with one hand.

Are mature bamboos able to use this method?

Do not believe it will happen. I need a tool that has more heft &amp power This ability allows you to slice.

The weeding process is almost enjoyable! Clearly I'm not the only one trying to regain control over my yard full of unkempt and weedy flowerbeds
5/5

Being a senior with bad knees and not having a strong passion for gardening does not seem reasonable to me. Getting up on my hands and knees is not an option, and I have to bend over or sit in an awkward position to accomplish The idea of having a tool that simplifies, speeds up, and makes that work less painful is fantastic. In addition to the convenience of moving quickly from bed to bed, it is so simple and quick to use that I can go back and trim weeds out of beds that I have already "finished" and stay ahead of them. We have used it to weed out grasses and other plants that are aggressively trying to grow in these We have a lot of shrubs and trees in the yard, which means we have By using this blade, I can quickly cut through those roots and pockets of clay so I can move plants, separate roots, and plant new ones. It would have been great if I had found this I would recommend this tool highly.

One of the best gardens I've seen in a long time
5/5

This is a very useful Having a big garden is difficult every year and I struggle to keep the weeds at bay. In the past, I have used a garden hoe to knock back weeds, but it is a lot of effort, and it does not cut through thick weeds. When I received this in the mail, I immediately took it to the garden to see how it worked. slicked right through the weeds and before I knew it I had weeded five rows with very little effort. I have used it in every row of my garden and I can't believe how good my garden looks There's no need to hoe with this machine because it's fast and requires little effort. Because of the short handle, you do have to bend over in order to use it, but I think it gives you better Make sure you are careful, because it is On the first day, I barely touched my finger when I cut Due to the fact that it's pretty much a knife, it can get dull after getting through dirt or hitting rocks, but I just sharpened it with my knife sharpener, so it's as good as new now. In summary, this is my new favorite tool! I would suggest wearing gloves since after two days of using it I had blisters, but most likely that was my fault. Overall, this is my new favorite The one thing I wish I'd known years ago is this.

Weeds are no match for this thick, strong blade! It was impossible to imagine that Japanese Sickle would be so phenomenal! Weeding can be done alone with this tool, as it is so versatile
5/5

You can easily plant an offspring even if it came from a larger plant by digging a hole and planting it near this one. It gets the weeds by the roots out of the ground. Without a doubt! It is simply skimming the surface for other reviewers to claim that it doesn't get to the root of the problem. In order to remove the young weeds, you should put a Sickle about 3/4 inch into the soil and pull it up from the soil. You should then reverse your motion and push the soil in the direction you came from. With larger weeds, use the pointed end of the rake and smack it into the soil up to a couple inches beneath the weed's base. Once you have it out of the ground, flick it with your wrist. You can also use the same technique to pull out those annoying clovers and their seeds. The weeding tool is indeed incredibly useful and, in a weird way, it actually makes the sometimes tedious task of weeding more enjoyable. I shouldn't mislead you, it is still work, but the pace is much faster now. The information you have provided is something I wish I had known Added bonus! Earlier in the year, we learned that it was made in Japan. There is a statement on the label to that effect. When is China the best place to buy a Japanese Sickle? They have such pride in their work in Japan, so go see it for yourself!.

I think so
3/5

I think that this sickle is ok, but it really depends on how you plan on using it. The machine is very useful if you are harvesting, which requires you to bend, cut, and gather. This is a very sharp and powerful tool of mine. If you have weeds or brush to clear out, then it is not long enough.

There is a need for this
5/5

Since we moved here four years ago, I have never been able to take care of my backyard without hired help, but after just an hour of using this, I feel I can. A weed-eater is necessary if you are struggling with weeds.

One of the best gardening tools you can use! Garden tools like this are amazing! As soon as I moved into our house, the previous owner planted asiatic jasmine in parts of the backyard
5/5

I didn't like it because it spread all over the place, and I wanted to plant flowers there. My asiatic jasmine vines are so difficult to get rid of, I spent days pulling them with a metal rake trying to push them forward. I then decided I would give this sickle a try and see if it would work on these This is the best tool I have ever used, I can handle vines in large patches with this sickle and it actually gets down to the roots to remove them. I think this is the best tool I've ever seen! It's so much faster to use this tool now. Although I have a long way to go, it's so much easier to work with! The butterfly and bee feeding ground will be wonderful when this area is completed.

I've never seen a better gardening tool! I don't know how I'd survive without it
5/5

Because it is lightweight, you will not tire your muscles. With this tool, I was able to clean a 50-foot row in less than 30 minutes. It scalps roots about an inch under the soil and the point digs stubborn roots easily. It is sharp, too, so if you wish to trim grass along an edge, then this is the item for you! What a great idea! This tool is awesome! I highly recommend it!.

Weeding tool of the highest quality
5/5

The shape of this device made me a little skeptic in the beginning (I'm just not used to a cylindrical device), but this thing is great! I have been using it heavily around the yard for about a month and the blade has not worn out. You need to put in effort to succeed).
