The cutting ability of the blade is comparable to that of other hedge clippers I've used in the past. It's excellent. It gets the job done. The long handles are beneficial for those of us of a certain age who are hesitant to climb a ladder for pruning. From the ground, I can reach the tall shoots. It works well in both the normal and upside-down positions. It includes a blade sheath, which is useful if you have grandkids or neighborhood kids who like to play in the tool shed.

Sharp and durable. For me, the weight is just right. I don't have to go out of my way to cut the bushes along my driveway. To play with, I'll purchase a small one.

Use caution when handling these. They're razor-sharp to the point of being lethal. Someone stole my first set of Okatsune Shears because they were so good.
My short and tall topiary look great with the long handles. I don't think I'll need the other handle sizes because I have a variety of other shears and loppers that are less expensive. Owning this precision tool as your go-to tool for frequent trimmings will make you proud.
I've never had better hedge shears. This is a product that I strongly suggest.
