Pkg was, in my opinion, secure. It was well-packed, and the blades were protected by a sheath that prevented them from being opened. And there's a lot of it. This is an excellent product.
In the little notch on these shears, I was able to cut 1/2" magnolia branches.
Since the 1920s, the company has been based in Corona, California (near Riverside). I'm not sure where these shears come from, but they work well and appear to be well-made.
This is an excellent question. It is determined by the type of grass. It would be appropriate for tall ornamental grasses. For lawn type grass, the Corona GS 6750 Forged Steel Grass Shears or the Corona GS 3750 Swivel Grass Shears are better options.

Branches the size of a pencil are easy to cut. Many items were available at Home Depot, but the sheers were not up to snuff. This is excellent. Branches the size of a pencil are easy to cut. To get some momentum when cutting 20 pencil-sized woody plants, you'll need to fully open the sheers. It's possible to take 1x- Swings two times This shaves off about 10 hairs from traditional boxwood. It also appears to be simple to sharpen, which is exactly what I was looking for. The wavy blades that resemble bread knives irritate me.
For a dollar less, this Corona isn't as thick and sturdy as the other. It works but it is the same weight as the other Corona sheers available here, with 30% thinner handles and a few dollars more than the other Corona sheers available here I've broken a few sheers' handles, so I know this one won't last as long as the other. It's not even close to being ergonomic.
I had high hopes for these shears. These are extremely comfortable to use, but they do not last long after a few uses. br>br>The rubber bumpers that make contact with each snip are great for reducing impact, but they bend the handles upward, which means I have to bend the shears straight every time I use them, which is inconvenient. br>br>These would be perfect if the metal was a little tougher and didn't bend so easily, but I'm afraid I can't recommend them.
The medium-sized branches were being cut with the small cutter at the base of the shears. After a few minutes, however, I noticed that the shears were bending after each use. I was dissatisfied because I purchased these based solely on the reviews. Please take a look at the images I've posted. Unfortunately, it's past the return window, so I'm hoping the manufacturer notices and takes steps to correct the situation.
Corona hasn't let me down yet. These clippers are extremely well constructed. These aren't the kind that fall apart after a couple of uses. I'd buy it again if I didn't think I'd need it for a long time - These are made to last a long time.
Pros:
1. Rubber Grips and Stopsbr>2. Rubber Grips and Stops Bright Red to make it easy to find in the grassbr>br>Cons:
1. Blades that are dull right out of the boxbr>2. Cutting action is not smooth: When trying to open and close the blades, there is a lot of friction. br>3. Heavy: It would be lighter if the handles were made of aluminum.
This set of clippers was initially appealing to me, but they quickly bent, and the top four inches from the point no longer close, making trimming much more difficult.
