It sort of makes me happy to have The plastic construction means that there are no rust staining issues, no seams to leak, and the surface is While it is quite lightweight, the plastic material seems fairly thick, so unless you take it too far or abuse it, it should last quite a while. It also has a handy hand strap.
Since I have demonstrated my incapacity in taping drywall, this will come in handy for a variety of odd jobs around the house.
The process is simplified as a result. I like it because it's strong. There are notches on either end of the blade that allow you to slip medium size up putty knives into (1 inch is too thin). It wipes the blade nicely. It is surprisingly useful to have the strap on the bottom.
This mud tray is amazing. I'm a handyman so I use mud trays every day. I highly recommend this one.
