It doesn't dry out. Has a consistency similar to hard putty. This product came off after 18 hours, so I had to begin again with a different product. See my review for more information. Throughout the coat, I did not fill any holes, so it's not like there were any big holes.
I should be able to know what you wrote. If it was just a small scratch, and you didn't mind the patch being white, then you could. If the lighting is off, you might not see the white spots as clearly There are white walls throughout.
You can tell when it is dry by its turn from pink to white.
You don't need to sand it if you let it dry and let it dry When applying, ensure that the application is as smooth and even as possible. In the end, it does not show up after sanding and painting.

The only expert I have here is a housewife who is trying to make some minor interior repairs. The repair crew suggested this item to me after I had goggles wall cracks repaired. I went to Amazon and read the Amazon reviews of buyers who had used the product to determine how it should be applied. My first attempt at the item was successful, since it seemed very easy. I took out all the chips, sanded the surface, and then applied the mixture. I was astonished that it worked. I cleaned the surface, removed all the chips, and sanded I waited 24 hours for it to dry. It needs to be sanded and smoothened out before painting. There is a noticeable difference between now and then. However, I am not certain I will get a remarkable finish from just one layer of the mixture. Hopefully next year I will do a better job of updating it. I really like it. I highly recommend this book.
As part of my painting project, I needed to touch up some chipped paint, and I heard that spackle helps to fill in cracks After doing a section without spackle, I was quite satisfied with how it turned out. A section of the roof with a lot of chipping, I then applied this stuff to. As a beginning, it felt like I was working with play dough, being so thick and hard to apply evenly. It only takes about 10 minutes to dry according to several reviewers here. In spite of this, the directions on the container state that Five hours did not suffice to fully dry the glue. It took more like eight hours. After that, when I tried to smooth it with sand paper, it peeled off even more paint and the problem grew more severe. Spackle is a dangerous product, so I think I will sand the chips and paint right over them with a brush, as that worked better than.
I can get what comes out of the tube and it's workable enough, but you can't get more than little blobs out of it. In the end, I chose to have this in a tube since it would be easier to fill up gaps at corners. There's no point to this stuff. As a substitute, I will try to find something that can be used with my caulk gun.
The dry wall was weak due to water damage from outside. The best of the four I have tried for finishing up is this one, nice and smooth. A new piece of dry wall should have been installed instead of cutting and fitting an existing one. However, after filling in the hole, and in part from running out of spackle more than once (forgive me, but I am just being honest here), I was left with an uneven surface I had DAP spackle, and I believe it to be even more effective if you are dealing with other minor repairs, has been proven to me as an excellent choice. While I first appled some of the glue to the wall, before spreading it, I didn't need to worry about it falling off the wall. Over uneven surfaces, it does a good job of smoothing. Breaks and gaps are few to none. The application process begins even before the end of the first minute. In my bathroom, I have a Wee Pee pad against the wall that has gathered lots of spackle, from other brands, that fell off. It only happened one time that DAPs failed In consistency and adhesion, and in the way it smoothes on, it's a little like Crisco (and I mean that in a nice way). A. I like it. B.
Whenever you have a deep or large hole in your wall, I would first patch the hole with patch tape and then add this over top. A slight smoosh/hole the size of a nickle was there. The hole looked rough, but it was perfectly covered by the set, and no one would know it was there before. The new one worked much better then expected (miracle stuff) and looks just right. The other one covered, but as soon as I smoothed it and sanded it, it wasn't working right anymore. After some frustration, I was able to get it to work somewhat, but it doesn't look perfect. This is something I highly recommend, however. As it is not dry, but is very pasty, you can smooth it very easily in a few moments and, when dry, sand it with a cheap sanding block very easily. When it is dry, it turns white, so you can tell it is dry by its color. Quite easy to do. It is possible for anyone to achieve what I have achieved. I'm a young woman. This was a quick and simple process. This was a nerve-wracking experience for me. I love it. you receive a hard or dry product, then it is old because mine was pasty, went on smoothly like butter, and dried a true white color. I had no problems with the paint going on top, nor was there any streaking. My hiding place is so obscure you can't even see It is hard for me to remember where exactly the holes were. You have good stuff there. For the larger/deeper hole, I wish I would have used patch tape first and then used this on top to smooth out because the large hole has a little wave (smooshy) because it was so deep, but it looks much better than It is immaculate on the other. We are extremely pleased with this purchase! I love it because of the price, the ease of usage and the fact that it.
It may have been due to my product being dried up, but I had almost no trouble getting the product out of the tube. Even if I was trying to take out an inch of product, it took me a long time to apply pressure to the tube. A number of things also prevented it from sticking to the wall. There could be an issue with the freshness of the product. I would not recommend this product if this is how the product is delivered. A second tube would be worth another try, but I would not expect to pay for another.
The DAP spackle I have been buying for years is excellent. This little device does the job well, and that's about all one can ask of it. The first time I used this version, I didn't notice that it was pink in the tub, and that it was white as soon as it dried. If your spackle is pink, it is easy to see where it has gone onto a white surface or into a recess. The degree of pink color also gives you a good idea of where deep and shallow areas are. It will be easier to level an uneven surface this way. The additional benefit is that you don't end up having to touch up paint or sand the surface until it is finished. In shallow areas, you can see the surfaces that are ready for the next step, and those that are not yet ready A nice bonus in the wetter areas that require more time.
Perhaps I got a bad batch, but it seems like I have to exert a lot of force to release a tiny bit of spackling. Honestly, I feel like the tube is just going to blow out of the back of it. In the end, I would have needed to cut the tip of the tube almost all the way down to get it out, so the tube serves no purpose.
