Black 5 oz. cartridge. After much research, I decided to use this product to paint our baseboards and door jambs before the painters arrived. I've never done this job before, but after a few youtube videos and four sore fingers, I'm almost an expert. br>br>I can't honestly compare this brand to other brands on the market, but I was pleased with the results I got with this brand. br>br>I didn't have any bad tubes in the case I purchased. It was easy to apply and clean up. I completed the caulking two months prior to the arrival of the painters. Although two months isn't long enough for any significant settling, the painters reported no pulled apart joints or seams.

WE PURCHASED THIS CAULK BECAUSE IT IS A GREAT BRAND AND WORKS WELL, SO THIS REVIEW DOES NOT MEAN THE ITEM IS BAD, IT IS GREAT, BUT THE ADVERTISING WAS BAD AND SOMEONE IN THE PACKAGING CENTER MESSED UP. br>br>FIRST, THE PHOTOS APPEAR TO SHOW WHITE CAULK, BUT THIS IS IN FACT BLACK, BUT I DID NOT GET WHITE LIKE THE MISLEADING PHOTO, NOR BLACK LIKE THE NAME, I GOT CLEAR. br>IN THE PROCESS OF RETURNING THIS ITEM, WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY EASY DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT WAS SHIPPED FROM AMAZON.

It costs a lot more than regular caulk, but it won't crack or split, and it's a lot easier to work with.

This is an excellent product, and the company was extremely accommodating when I needed assistance. This caulk doesn't feel like caulk at all, and it's incredibly simple to use. I'm a second-generation home builder, and I'm glad to see Big Stretch on Amazon because I order a lot of single items that I need quickly through Prime, and I see that several colors of Big Stretch are available from Amazon as of writing this review. br>br>First and foremost, let me state that Sashco is a fantastic organization. They have a long history of producing high-quality goods. Their entire line of professional caulks and sealants is of the highest quality, and I feel very confident using them on my projects. br>br>No one, from the contractor to the client, enjoys callbacks. They are costly in terms of both money and time, and most of my painters use professional caulks that are not available at big box stores for a reason. Most DIY caulks shrink over time, and I had some crown molding develop cracks between the ceiling and crown molding on a project we did a few years ago. It took a year for that to appear, but it was in a home with insulating, heating/cooling, and humidity issues, and I later discovered that the caulk used was not a professional brand. Seeing all those cracks and pulling away caulking in an otherwise highly detailed and flawless job looked bad. It was necessary to remove the old caulk and replace it with new caulk and paint. Three times, I had to pay for the trim finishing. The first time was to put it on, the second time was to take it off, and the third time was to put it back together. Needless to say, we returned with a big sigh of relief. *** It may be a little more expensive up front, but over time and in different circumstances, it may be much less expensive. **
br>Do it once and do it right the first time. br>br>This is a professional product that is being made available to the general public. You're not going to be let down. When conditions are extreme and results must be guaranteed, this is the caulk I reach for. It's easy to give it five stars. br>br>*** August 2016 Update - This is still my go-to all-around caulk. The show is still going strong. On cracked caulk joints, there have been no follow-up calls. Clients who are pleased with their service make me pleased as well.
