I am interested in buying the mesh as it is self adhesive and will stick to the wall. To remove the backing, you simply need to peel it off. Thanks a lot!

Does mesh have to be used?

Thanks for your reply, you don't need to do this, but the mesh is a cover for the hole in the wall to allow the patching to adhere to, without it, the patching will fall through. Thanks a lot!

To repair a large nail hole in the wall I created trying to hang a picture (just a small example of how difficult it is)

There was no need to apply more than a few coats of this spackle because of its consistency, which was similar to thick whipped cream. Furthermore, the sheet of plastic mesh proved useful in allowing me to cover up the entire nail hole before I applied the spackle, resulting in a miraculously smooth surface.

This is a very easy-to-use tool

Having just started to do DIY, I found this to be easy and simple to use. It covered a few different damages on my wall with this single kit. In this case, the patch was cut since you may not need such a large patch. My first response was to cut it to fit the hole and patch Spackle that was left after the can was opened seemed to have dried out. One of my dumb moments was forgetting to remove the label from the scraper, so some of the paper came off as I applied.

I am disappointed

The paint was dry and wouldn't stick to the wall, with a huge mess as a result. My nail holes were only small, so it only worked well for small holes.

The packaging was not stored properly, some of the plastic was compromised, and the bucket seems to have been soiled. Not sure if it was malfunctioning on the part of the parcel service. I received only one that met my standards out of the many I ordered.

The missing item has not been found

I ended up using a cardboard to spread the putty around this whole pretty quickly because I needed it repaired quickly. It was when the box inside came open that I knew it was going to be disastrous.

What you see advertised is not what you get

Small patches are easy to apply with this kit

This kit was perfect for filling up holes in my apartment walls caused by hanging pictures, etc. I needed to fix a few small holes on the walls, so it included everything I needed. I was able to spread the spackle easily and use it easily. The sandpaper included made it a great addition to the kit, since I used it before I painted.
