Shellac is only suitable for projects that are going to be done inside. With that said, it shouldn't be too slippery once it's cured.

Recently, I used it to make wooden coasters out of various hardwoods. It performed admirably and has a pleasing appearance.

I'm not sure what I'm saying. However, it is possible that the effect will wear off.

Shellac isn't a good finish for surfaces that get wet or get a lot of use. For wood floors, there are a lot of better options.

Tannins are leached from many older woods through the paint. You can either prime or apply the first coat while you wait for the need to arise. However, the majority of us can make an educated guess. To save time, simply seal the piece and let it dry. Use a mask to conceal your identity. Work in the open air.

It's simple to use, quick to dry, and looks fantastic! The shellac is AMAZING and works like a charm! *FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS* when using it

Simply apply a LIGHT coat in even passes and wait about 12-hours before applying another coat. The distance is 15 inches. To make a Vietnamese straw hat water resistant and protect the straw, I used it. It only takes a few minutes for the shellac to dry, and then you can go over it with another coat. Rep the coats(2-3) as needed. 3 should be able to handle the task with ease). Remember that water is a straw hat's worst enemy, and this spray can be used on almost any straw. ENJOY!.

I had never used spray can shellac before and was unsure if it would work on my wood projects in the same way that regular shellac would. I just had to give it a shot to see for myself, and I'm glad I did. I still wouldn't use it for large projects, but for smaller ones, I'll keep a couple of cans on the shelf at all times. Another benefit for me is that it goes a long way.

I bought this to coat a piklers triangle I'd made for my daughter, which needed a little extra protection. It was so simple to apply and dry that the three coats were completed in an afternoon, and she was climbing all over it by early evening!.
