So far, I've only used the gloss, not the high gloss. But, assuming they're the same, it's water resistant, but I'm not sure about heat resistance. When it gets too hot, it may release harmful chemicals. Before using it for coasters that will be hot, I recommend contacting the manufacturer. Yes, stroke marks are used on occasion.br>br> I mostly use it to seal painted rocks, which don't leave stroke marks, but oddly, when I paint on flat surfaces like tiles, they do. Spray-on deodorant is one of my favorites. Super-shiny, flat surfaces benefit from sealants. However, I am a huge fan of this product for rocks. It's especially appealing to me because it's odorless.
I'm guessing a pack is more than one, but that depends on the ounces. Some of the information is in Spanish, which I do not understand. Durant clear gloss is my favorite, and in my opinion, it is the best.
It should work, in my opinion. It protects acrylic painted stones from yellowing and peeling, and it doesn't yellow or peel.
It is, in fact, a water-based product. Cleaning up is as simple as using soap and water.

I attempted to contact the manufacturer a long time ago (at least three weeks) and received no response. I decided to give them the opportunity to assist me. It's a disgrace that they didn't respond. I've been using this product for about a year and a half, and I've been pleased with the results. Then I got a shipment that started yellowing my art, so I tried an experiment on a scrap piece of art, and it yellowed almost instantly after drying. I only had four bottles, so I assumed it was a dud. The same thing happened when I tried each of the other bottles. I tried it on both wood and canvas, and the results were the same. All of them have yellowed and appear to be in bad shape. I'm not sure what happened to this product in the last few months. It was once fantastic, but now it isn't. Not in the least. It says on the bottle that it's a 'non-alcoholic beverage. ' 'It's turning yellow. ' This, however, is not true. Be careful who you buy from. Your art will suffer as a result of it.
It takes a little longer to dry, but the glossy sheen is worth it.
This product was used to seal acrylic pours onto canvas. It went on smoothly at first, but as it dried, it left a crackling effect that ruined my painting. I'm sorry I purchased this item for my project.
What was once a light milky color is now clear with a slight yellow tinge, which I noticed right away. It's also quite thick, resembling clear PVA glue in appearance and feel. If it continues to perform as well as it did previously, I will return to update this review.
I save the gloss for a clear coat finish if I want a glossy look.
It took an eternity for me to find one that had the recommendations I required. I use Air Dry Clay because I don't have an oven and it works perfectly! The bottle may appear small, but it covers a large portion of the item you want to varnish. It's smooth and doesn't get sticky; I got some on my hands and was able to wash it off quickly. It gives your artwork the perfect sheen, and it comes highly recommended!.
This varnish has been used on a variety of projects, including: I volunteer with a group of cancer patients, so I'm always wary of using anything with fumes or that could irritate them. Duraclear has been fantastic, and I particularly like how quickly it dries. The ladies in the group have enough time to finish their projects with two or three coats of paint. The gleaming coats not only add to the overall look of the project, but they also protect it. It's absolutely fantastic!.
