I'm here. Nails in rough chopped lumber cannot be detected by the MS740 because it is kept in contact with the scanning surface for the entire period which is being scanned. In this case, Zircon MetalliScanner M40 would be the ideal tool for the job. It was a pleasure to speak with
While I haven't tried it, I think you may be able to locate nail heads using the metal scan.
You're right, that will be the case. A stud finder like this is the best I've ever used. I am very happy with the results!
Thank you so much for your time. Texured drywall is a good candidate for it. Using thin cardboard as a scanner window can solve the problem if it is difficult to scan through due to the texture. Please accept my sincere thanks

To start off with, I just need a stud-shoe to do my thing and I need to preface this review by stating that I am a typical Joe Every 6 months or whenever the wife buys a new mirror or something, the finder is used. The unit has been with me for four months and I have only used it twice so far. finders, I would be stuck second guessing the location of the studs - going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth - for a very long time. It's really hard to triangulate where the 2x4 is, and I have missed a stud in previous units. Zircon MS 740 provides me a lot of confidence with the results I am getting. It still takes me a couple extra tries to make sure I get it right, but the results have been quite good so far. There really isn't anything that I dislike. built-in marker (which turned out to be much more useful than I imagined this device would be) and the Stud Interface appears to be a good choice for most people. Likewise, I appreciate the fact that the unit does not automatically engage unless it is engaged on a flat surface. Additionally, I am still using the same 9-inch computer The battery that I started with is a 12-volt unit. As a result, I am very happy. It is my hope that this review will assist the next chapter.
I am glad I spent the money on that. It was purchased for my first home which I purchased recently, and I have a lot of projects in mind, both small and large. I knew I would need a good stud finder as a result. It's amazing what this thing does! There is a lot of technology in it, it is accurate. I just want to say wow to everything. Comes with 3 extra pencil refills tucked behind the battery and a built-in pencil for marking the center. The manual should be read by anyone buying this product! In either case, you will either miss out on small features that could have made your task easier or you will not understand what the symbols and beeps.
This feature-rich package has it all! Featuring all the features you could ask for and more, the Zircon MS740 MultiScanner will meet all your scanning needs. There are so many features that I couldn't possibly describe them all in this article. The device runs on a single battery and requires one 9V battery to operate. A few examples of what it can detect are studs, metal and AC wires. There are easy to read indicators on the screen, which is bright and illuminated. With its integrated marking feature, you don't have to worry about picking up a pencil every time you need to mark the location of screws, nails, etc. You may find it more useful to read the description on Amazon or the Zircon website to learn more about what this handy tool can do. There is nothing I would rather have than You simply press it against the wall while using it then release that pressure when you are done to turn it on and off. While using it, it feels ergonomically comfortable in the hand, and it automatically shuts off as soon as you release the pressure. No more worrying if you forget to turn off your device when you're on it. This device is stuffed with Pros, so I can't think of any Cons at the moment, but I'll update this review if something interesting happens. The MultiScanner is an excellent value for money. Thanks for sending it to me. I apologize I did not The task would have saved a lot of frustration, time, and the necessary patching of the walls. Let me know when it arrives and I will thank you.
We have a lot of bookshelves throughout our house, and I install them constantly. I have to find studs inside the wall and locate power lines, just to name a few things in the wall because the house is over a hundred years old, and the walls are plaster and lath. I have saved a lot of time by using the Zircon Scanner. In addition to being over a hundred years old, the house is on a hill. To be sure, this is a tool that has a place of honor in my toolbox.
Finding this device more cumbersome to use than finders that require a button push seemed odd to me. It is my experience that there are tradeoffs between different make and model in design and features. Comparing this to a Chinese model costing $30. The American/Mexican version offers a more refined response, quicker response time, and smoother operation. It is exhausting to push and engage this thing against the wall. I am not sure that it is worth the effort. It would be beneficial to have lighter springs in future models. In contrast to most Chinese designs, this model has a horizontal graphic interface, which is much more intuitive and helpful. The wall was consistently engaging with the device, but I was unable to keep it consistently engaged against it due to excessive downward force. For me, a push button model with a side button is most convenient.
In the end, I bought the cheaper version of this model and found it to be useful. I had to drill holes all over the place because it would constantly report studs that didn't exist. This is the one I chose to purchase from the brand, and I have not been disappointed with it. With the screen, you don't have to guess where the studs are located. We bought a house just a few weeks ago and have since been hanging picture frames, theater speakers, and all sorts of garage equipment, finding that every hole it listed was in fact correct. The drill has a marking device to keep track of where you are drilling. I also get an alert when there is wiring in the wall, which is a nice feature. My favorite thing about it is the design and how it fits in my hand well. It's a good product for the general public.
It is a product I have used several times a week since I bought it 3 weeks ago. Just recently, my partner and I moved into a new and much larger home and I have been installing many shelves, hooks, and racks. My use of this tool has come in extremely handy for making sure that things are installed in the right places. I have been five years old since I can remember Up until today, when the "mark" function stopped working, I was happy with my stars. As an added design feature, the manufacturers integrated a pencil lead into their scanner so that when you press the corresponding button, a mark is left on the wall. Three refills were even placed underneath the battery - this is a great idea, but they should add some more to the pack. I like this design a lot! This is a very minute aspect of a scanner's function, but it is VERY useful when it works, but can be very frustrating when it doesn't work. For $70, I expected I might be able to trust the tool to mark my hand when I press the mark Although I haven't dropped this thing, I have handled it gently and taken good care of it, so I am very disappointed because that is not what I intended.
