Thanks for visiting. On the T13, the sense is slightly deeper on 710+ senses to a depth of 7" while 710+ senses to a depth of 1". I like the depth of 6 inches, and the pencil caddy on the T13. In both cases, a 7" LED display is used to show 13 sensors. You have my gratitude for your message! We appreciate you choosing Franklin Sensors and we wish you best of luck with your company
Thanks for visiting! The stud finders in our product line work by finding density, and concrete usually has a higher density than the Concrete is dense, so the sensor will be thrown off by it. We appreciate you choosing Franklin Sensors and we wish you best of luck with your company
There is no guarantee that it will do so, if you are asking if it will. A change in density of a stud behind a sheetrock wall produces an inductive change that is detected by the coil by sensing the inductance of its coils. Finding rafters can be tricky since they are usually hidden beneath decking as well as underlayment (probably tarpaper) and then It's more or less unpredictable which kind of shingles will appear on the roof. My answer to your question is, unfortunately, the $700 Bosch terahertz radar unit will not do what you want.
Nope, nothing to see here There is only one option for you there buy the $700 Bosch D-drive (or find a tool rental shop to rent it for you) Radar unit with a terahertz frequency of 150 GHz. It will see a real-life picture of anything inside anything but an aluminum trailer skin it can see several inches deep.

Installing a few AA batteries allowed this ProSensor T13 to work perfect right out of the box. Step right up to the wall and across, and you will see the three lines identifying the Even just saving me the trouble and time of trying to locate a stud when I want to hang a picture or install a new piece of artwork on the wall is worth it.
It was my desire for this stud finder to perform as described, and was willing to fork over the higher price if it did, but the product didn't live up to my expectations. Due to its unreliable and erratic performance, it was worthless. About a dozen walls in different interiors were subjected to it. Walls were constructed of wooden studs covered in 1/2" drywall when the house was built in On all the walls except one, there was old vinyl coated wallpaper. Latex paint was used to paint the rest of the walls. Rereading the instructions several times helped me to ensure that I was using it correctly. Various battery sets were tried as well. The product was ultimately returned to Amazon and I have continued to use an old inexpensive stud finder that I have had for many The unit I received might have been defective, but I didn't take the time to test another.
This level and pencil holder are good marketing ideas, but overall, the stud finder is a better product than one light types with a tipped flashlight that you have to slide for the light to turn off before finding the end of the screw. There will be a number of Drops it can get off the ladder before it is deemed successful. This is a good option if it's You've hit the ball out of the park with this. Here is a pic that says it all An outlet is an easy way to test a stud finder since we know exactly where to place the stud.
In a nutshell, Although I was excited to receive this, I don't believe it will be of any use to me. I have plenty of DIY tasks around the house to do. I have tried in multiple different spots on different walls, and for my unit, there is more than a 50% chance that it gets very confused and starts flashing LEDs randomly. The app is as buggy as the last one. Right now, I'm holding the button down before I touch the wall and then holding the button when the device is touching the wall.
The thing I love is this one. Several years ago, I had two Zircon stud finders, both of which I still have and work well. Despite their slow speed, they do their job well. Repeat steps 3 and 5 by pressing the button, scanning, and repeating You may need to check a stud four times to make sure all sides or edges are correct. It is a very different experience to use this tool. A map of the stud is created by the LEDs. There is usually a 2-day turnaround There are three LED lights on each stud to indicate its location. When you move the tool across a stud, the LED light will come on right away. The biggest time saver you'll ever find. When I bought this tool, I thought that it would help me save my arm since I work As it turned out, yes. As a result, I compared the marks from my other stud finder that were acquired rather laboriously over a long period of time. This is one of my favorite tools! In my house, I had 1/2" drywall on 1 1/2 to 2 inch wide studs and rafters for the walls and ceilings. However, I have not test it on walls that are denser than drywall. (I have not hung lathe and plaster or concrete walls). In the case of a modern building or a renovated wall, this is brilliant. While I got a few odd readings here and there, overall, I found this to be just as good or even better than my Zircon at locating studs. It is just so much easier to use. If it does what it says, it's worth the money. The purpose of this purchase was to use it for an attic ladder in an enclosed room. Since then, I've used it to mount studs on walls. It's possible that there's another version of this sensor that can detect electrical signals. The version I got is the T13 ProSensor. As far as I can tell, does not indicate wires. Because I didn't read the instructions, I didn't know what to do. There's no doubt about it I strongly recommend it.
Here's to a new world for you! It was placed against a number of walls where I knew where the studs are located. We have not detected any false positives or Despite the fact that this sensor is more expensive than you might otherwise want, and perhaps even a little bit larger than you would prefer, it seems to offer outstanding quality. In addition, we all know the risks involved in hanging heavy objects on plaster. I am going to give my children a Christmas present each year (even the girls) from now on.
Over the years, I have owned quite a few stud finders. I used and owned many stud finders over the years, but this is by far the best. I really liked how accurate it was. attempted to test it in my basement, which is unfinished except for one section with only one sheet of drywall installed all around it. 'Metal detection' is one additional feature I'd love to have. In addition to detecting pipes, it also detects conduits. I could have wound up in a lot of trouble if I had not seen that it was a pipe and thought it was a stud. Only that would satisfy me as a feature enhancement. It runs on 2 AA batteries as well, which is a bonus. Whenever I used this unit, I didn't have a bunch of 9 volt batteries on hand, as I have used them all on other units. When I discover that all the smoke detectors I have are dead, I would have to go out and get one, or temporarily scavenge from another one.
In the instructions, this stud finder says that it should not be used to determine the stud location of I had a Hardiphone, but Even though it was covered in planks and I had to find the studs, I gave it a shot. Although it took me some time to hit 15 studs on my first attempt, I was able to do it with a combination of careful watching of the LEDs and measuring the distance between the estimated stud locations. A cheapo stud finder would never have been able to do the job. There is no doubt that this tool is worth the price.
