The 5 in 1 Stud Finder Wall Scanner offers a variety of scanning modes, which provide users with a broader range of detection possibilities. As a backup, I purchased this crosscut just in case the chainsaw option is unavailable during a time of need. A small sharpening file was included with the saw. I didn't put much time into field testing the saw, but I did use it with someone else on the other end to cut a few smaller dried trees and limbs with it. I was satisfied with the performance of the saw. The blade of the saw has a few noticeable surface scratches. There will likely be a few more once it's used a bit.
