There were a few other reviews stating that it gives inaccurate According to the instructions, you need to hold it against the wall before you turn it on to calibrate it correctly. I can turn it on before I put it on the wall, and it finds all the studs there. If I turn it on after I put it on the wall, it seems to be confusing because it is not calibrated yet. If anything needs to be changed for the product, perhaps there could be a switch on the back and it would know when it is pushed against a wall for the first time after being powered on so that it can be calibrated Though, it seems like it should be just a matter of waiting for it to turn on.

This is a total disaster! This is something you should buy! Despite the fact that this thing said there were studs, I put 3 holes in drywall. False advertising and faulty product.

A proper (and much more costly) stud finder will be able to determine the depth of another's hole more accurately. There were a number of false positives using the program. You should swipe numerous times so that it gets it right. It will eventually find the stud, but you need to do many swipes to be sure.

Worked but not as expected

This does not work the way it was supposed to. Neither metal nor wood can be distinguished. A thin layer of drywall was installed in my house following all guidelines. It was disappointing.

The stud finder does not work well

This isn't a good sign. I returned immediately after a short break. Studs were finding their way all over the place and then they would not be found again at the same place again.

My stud detector was not very accurate. I drilled an entire hole in the center of the stud and missed it by an entire inch.
