Originally, I purchased another set, which arrived with an 'upgraded' plastic case that had already been damaged inside while being shipped. It didn't have real hinges either. A thin piece of plastic had been molded into the hinge of the case, and as you opened and closed it, the lower part of the case bent back and forth. Inevitably, though, it will break in half, meaning duct tape is required to repair it. The original set was returned, and a new one was ordered. There is nothing better than this set! I doubt the case will break anytime soon, given that it is made of thick and flexible plastic. Unlike plastic hinges that break down with each open and close, the metal pin on the hinges will not. Latches are made of separate red plastic panels and click firmly into place with a satisfying click. A case given this shape is easy to distinguish from a case given this shape, and the latches make it virtually impossible to open In my opinion, this is the best set of setup blocks you can get on Amazon if you need a nice set.

I am very pleased with the quality of these blocks of set up. They are well worth the money regardless of the price, as I was not expecting them to be at this price point. Keeping them organized is also very easy since they come in a nice case. For the first time in my life, I won't use a tape measure to help set up my table saw cuts. I am extremely pleased with their work!.

They seem accurate and consistent. I wish there was a 1/32 for me to be able to build whatever I need. It is a bit hard to see movement when they are stacked due to black anodize, but so far they have held up well.

These are a must-have item for a visual reference when analyzing parquetry patterns. A gauge set has the highest value in visualizing the end product. I notice stuff like we've opted for the visually less appealing option over the visually more attractive one. It has a visually pleasing appearance. The little screw was even worse- Every time I look at a piece, I get excited. In this sense, the role of a furniture maker is different from that of a finish carpenter or cabinet maker. When you are at the specialty hardwood store you can carry a couple in your pocket while comparing designs. To effectively increase the number of gauges to 30, I use the 1/16th to add the 32nd. It is very rare for me to try ripping or cross-stitching Experience will tell you the tolerancing stack of your tools in finicky wood. Cut a long detail feature at even finer than 1/16th thick in practice. It's wonderful. I love everything about it. The value of a dollar is tangible.

To this point, I consider myself to be a serious amateur woodworker. It is slow going building my shop up, but I am proud of what I have made so far. YouTube is the place where I learn a lot of techniques, and I see these types of setup blocks being used quite a bit, so I was super excited to get a chance to review these! This case and the firm foam inside keep all the blocks secure and in place. I appreciate the hard case and the firm foam inside. It is not a particularly beautiful case, and its clamps are rather flimsy, but they do the job for now, since the case was going to rest on a shelf until I needed it. In addition to their precision, they are also accurate. My measurements were spot on on every one! Lightweight and solid, the blocks are made of solid reinforced plastic. It is very easy to read the paint markings as they are white paint on dark black blocks that are perfectly printed. There is something very nice about this starter set, and I am happy to have it in my shop.

We have instructions for setting router bit heights as well as table saw blade heights. We have the ability to make it easy and fast. This set is quite good looking, I must say. The finish is stunning, the quality is excellent. My name brand set in the drawer is not competitive with this set. My assessment of the case is that it is not This is not about the case, but about the blocks. This is all I have to say. It is not working right now, so I was hoping to check their accuracy, but my digital calipers will not work. There is a good chance I will be buying My known square turned out to be spot on when I checked with it. Currently, I can't say that they are dead on, but I believe that they as a whole look good. My job requires enough quality to be good enough. Furthermore, the marks are easy to read since they are so clear. This is a good set that has a bit of a price tag, but for the money you get a lot (except the case). I would recommend it!.
