The rapid machining process they used was an advanced one. The fact that they are not certified measurement devices does not mean that they are accurate. The ‘approximate’ measurements here are great if you need very close measurements. Stack them as needed for the blade height, the distance between dove joints, and rough machining with a distance of no more than 1/100 or so. There is no high precision in these measurements and they are at best average. Blocks with high precision are made with steel alloys and have very limited thermal expansion and contraction tolerances. A set of those blocks can cost thousands of dollars.
