They are easy to use and time-saving

This feature can be used to copy curved items and odd shaped objects. My plan is to make a trunk / bulkhead for a jeep wrangler using the curves from this model. Because of the shallow depth of the templating fingers, the fingers won't follow highly angled parts unless you use them It is a bit difficult to use on highly curved parts because the fingers deflect a bit, but it is still a lot easier than cardboard You can use trial-and-error to create templates. It would be a good idea to do so.

I took a chance on him not already owning one when I bought it for Christmas. He commented on it when he opened it on Christmas morning "I had been looking at it for a long time. Glad you got it!". A knock-off I bought, I then had to return, it was of lesser quality and it did not lock in place, so I had to fight it to keep it from moving. The Saker is so much better, of superior quality, and locks in place beautifully, and I absolutely.

Simple and accurate to use

As part of making wooded legs, I used the gauge to profile the bottom of a cast iron tub. really like how it works, it's easy to use, and a little longer would have been great, but it didn't affect my job in any way.

Not a lock, which I didn't pick up on because when reading it carefully I didn't notice it. I would advise others to make sure they get a lock since it sometimes moves if you are not careful.
