CST/berger 82-10080B 100ft Nylon-Clad Steel Zip-Line, 82-Series Open Reel Tape in FEET/8THS

I have only purchased four times in the last four months. The nylon on each of the last four pieces exposed to moisture broke free from the metal. Whenever the nylon is removed from the metal, the metal becomes hazardous to the hands and the integrity of the metal degrades rapidly. Compared to previous tapes, the current tapes last a quarter as long. There seems to be a decline in the method of application, quality or quantity of glue. The cause of my problem should be addressed by a different product until a significant improvement is achieved. I am even willing to work with the maker to test the product.

I still use it even though the plastic covering the steel came off the first day I used.

The advantage of using nylon-clad steel rulers is that they are less likely to be stretched.

You can pull the tape coating taut if you pull it tightly.
