It's good quality and I would buy it It is lightweight, can easily fit into a tool bag or padfolio (or a large file folder for that matter), and is highly visible not to be missed on site

Fiberglass tape is of high quality and marked in decimals. The yard measurement I use is engineer's scale, which is ideal for my purpose of measuring the exterior of existing improvements to compute building area. In terms of length, the ridged tab is anchored securely on various types of building materials so far, including wood, masonry, stucco, and painted brick An adequate amount of information is available. In the case of an exterior that cannot hold the tab, it is necessary to dig a hole that is big enough to bolt the end in the ground. Watch the reel - Easy and fast in its mechanism. I'm an engineer

It is 10ths of a foot, not inches, that is being measured. The best tape measure I have ever seen! It is just to warn you that the term "Engineer" is not exactly what they mean. A tape measure that measures one foot (or one decimal point as it is labeled on the product) is said to measure it in 10ths and 100ths of an inch or centimeter. Inches, NOT feet. To get a measurement of 1, you would need to multiply the length by 1. If you want it to read "98 feet" then this tape is for you, but if you want it to read "1 foot and 63/64s" then you need something else.

My search for the perfect solution ended here. It is easy to use, durable, and small. There would have been no problem if it had been in engineering measurements (tenths) on the other side (instead of blank).
