This is a 5 STAR review. It is for the 200' Lufkin, #FE200, #13VZF5, installed The United States- Taipei - It is China- Components sourced from Mexico. The pros are Considering how comfortable the handle is to hold, I really enjoy it. There is a lot of room for comfort, as well as grippy surfaces. It is also nice to have a crank handle with a winding system. The spring-loaded mechanism keeps the gate open or shut, and the positive force keeps the gate in the open position. A re-entry pattern is seen in the first three inches A black coating tape is reinforced at the end of the hook to strengthen that part. The cons are There is only ONE SIDE of the tape that has measurements in FEET and INCHES. In the opposite corner there is a blank page. There are no solid prints associated with the RED "FOOT. " marking. The pixels that make up the marks are visible. I don't think they're showing very well & They already have a faded look. A light breeze is blowing No gears are included in the crank mechanism of the up crank. My needs are met by this, but others may be looking for a similar.
Try using it outdoors with only one side printed. It is absurd, impossible, and you should not buy it. Usually this means that it has a printed pattern on both sides of the tape like the Stanley 200'.
The tape is definitely worth considering if you are in need of such a long tape. This is a hard product to beat for the price. I have used it extensively on sites requiring distances of more than 30 feet. With its flip out hook, the end has a good grip on most objects. It is easy to roll out and up. It is a great deal to get a 200' tape for this price.
The super thin and flexible tape is prone to twisting, and the end (clamp?) is easy to damage. (as a) fitting is ineffective for simple usage such as slipping it over a stake and unwinding the tape to measure property lines. (b) fitting is uncomfortable and inefficient to use. I think it is all right to use a simple loop here but someone tried to overthink it. Once I tried using it, I returned it because I struggled with it.
It comes in handy when you have to measure outside occasionally. Even though I own a laser measurer for indoor use, I have not been able to make it work properly outside. Plus, the prices are excellent!.
Despite the fact that it is a bit big for what she needs, the quality is good and the price is reasonable.
The measuring tape I own is great. There is a good mechanism for winding the tape and it is very easy to read.
The long and the This is exactly what I needed when I was measuring.
