I placed the solar panel in direct sunlight from sunrise until 1 p. m. , when it was partially shaded, and left it there all day. I plugged the light in when it got dark outside, and it immediately started working. (To make it smaller, press the 'ON' button twice. ) bright). br>br>So it worked as expected, but how was it going to turn off at dawn and then on again when it got dark - as stated in the description? It does, after all. At 5 a. m. , the light was still on, but it went out before 9 a. m. So I just left everything alone for the rest of the day - Charger in the sun, light clinging to a fence, illuminating my address numbers - The light was turned off until it became dark outside, after which it automatically turned back on. No, I didn't need to go outside and turn on the light. To be honest, I'm blown away! Now is the time to permanently mount everything.

Friends, how are you? When it comes to lighting and other technological aspects, I'm a little bit of a nerd. I also appreciate it when someone recommends a product that they really like. So, here's something I came across that I really like:br>br>Solar lights are fantastic, especially if you live in the woods like we do. For our flags, I had been looking for some solar spotlights. We went to Home Depot, Lowes, and Menards and tried all of the usual ones. They're only a little. meh. br>br>I found these cuties on Amazon, and they're fantastic! They are, first and foremost, a soft light. The solar panel is not attached to the light itself, and it has a solid metal body. As a result, the solar panel can be positioned for maximum sun exposure. Six feet is the length of the cable. br>br>In any case, I've attached an Amazon screenshot as well as a photo of two of these lights on our flagpole. This light was purchased to provide illumination for a deck's back step and landing. The four stars for brightness indicate how strong it is, which is exactly what I was looking for. The solar panel is mounted under a roof overhang and receives about a half day of indirect light in the afternoon, despite the fact that the installation area receives little direct sunlight for charging (north side of the house). It should get a few hours of late afternoon sun in the fall and winter. For the time being, this appears to be sufficient, as the unit has charged and is still lit on the low setting when I turn in. The warm, white light beam is concentrated but covers a large enough area because it is mounted 3' above the deck. The lamp is well-made, sturdy, and made of metal. with a mounting system that can be adjusted The 3 meter wire is just long enough for my installation, and the plastic wire connection is screwed shut. (I'm thinking about putting a dab of silicone on it. ) )br>This is exactly the kind of light I was looking for for this project. If the solar panel continues to charge on the less-than-ideal setting, than- I'll give it a 5-star rating because of its ideal location and ability to withstand our harsh winter. Purchase with a 5 star rating.

I could take a picture of how dim this fixture is in my back yard, but it's not worth my time. I bought this a few months ago for up-lighting. In my backyard, there is lighting. I didn't want to run a lot of wire, so this seemed like a good alternative. br>br>I bought two of them. One of them was unsuccessful. For a while, the one I kept worked "sort of," but it's now barely visible. It's been 3 hours since the sun went down, and I'm still in the dark. br>br>Because I live in Tennessee, we have plenty of sunshine. The weather today (October 4) was partly cloudy but mostly sunny. The light and solar cells get plenty of afternoon and early evening sun because they're under a Crepe Myrtle. a minimum of 7 hours. br>br>At the moment, the unit is barely visible. This purchase did not impress me, and I would not recommend it. I'll most likely take it out and either try to return it (I believe I'm past the return window) or throw it away.

We've tried several outdoor solar spots and they're either too dim or don't charge enough to stay lit for more than a couple of hours; these, on the other hand, appear to be wired outdoor spotlights and work similarly. It's simple to put together, quick to charge, and produces the same amount of light as the wired version. They are virtually invisible in the garden due to their low profile and small size. The best part is that the solar panel can be placed where there is plenty of sunlight while the light itself can spend the entire day in the shade. Who knew solar lights could be used in the most shady of spots? I've already placed three orders and will continue to do so. I can't say enough good things about them!.

I have two of these to illuminate my property's entrance. They have a great deal of brightness and last for a long time before fading. They can last all night on some nights if they had a lot of sun the day before. Recently, one of them lost his job. When I disassembled the solar panel/battery compartment, I discovered an ant colony. It turns out that insects can get through the main cable that connects the light to the solar panel/battery pack. So, while I still recommend this product, I would also recommend using silicone to seal the opening where the main cable enters the solar panel/battery compartment through the post. After you've attached the spike, wrap some silicone around the cable where the spike connects to the unit's base, and you're ready to go. Bugs (and possibly water) can enter through this opening.
