Questions & Answers

I believe the answer is number four. Is there a small tube adopter included with the filter to connect the red tube, or does it only have a hole?

A new stage 3 filter will include a new elbow for connecting the red line as well as a new flow restrictor for the red line.

I'm curious about the filter's production location. ?

Are pure blue h2o models compatible with this product?

Hello, this item is for the PB- model. The TLR04H50T is a four-stage RO system. This should work with the model you bought at Costco.

Would this work as a replacement for stage 3 of Amazon's four-stage ra system? "Amazon Essentials 4-pack" "Home reverse osmosis drinking water system with multiple stages"?

After 2 1/2 years, I needed to replace the Stage 3 filter
5/5

Our Pure Blue h2o reverse osmosis system had a Stage 3 filter that lasted about a year. Two and a half years old This is the original Stage 3 filter that came with our system when we first bought it. This filter is meant to last for two weeks. 5 years. The actual lifespan is believed to be influenced by the ph level and water quality. We've been tweaking our Stage 1 strategy. Two filters should be changed every six months, and the stage four filter should be changed once a year, as recommended. Our TDS meter reads 450ppm in our tap water (prior to the Pure Blue H2o reverse osmosis)- The water is extremely hard. Until a few months ago, the water from our Pure Blue H2o reverse osmosis system would usually have a 30-percentage-change in pH. 35ppm. It jumped from 50 to 60 in a matter of seconds. A few weeks ago, the concentration was at 65 parts per million. Following the installation of a new stage 3 filter, the ppm level dropped to 20ppm after the 60-minute wait. The 65ppm water in the reservoir tank had a chance to cycle out. This is a big drop. We would not have known the Stage 3 filter needed to be changed if it hadn't been for the TDS meter. If you have a Pure Blue H2o reverse osmosis system, a TDS meter ($15-$20) is highly recommended. ($20 on Amazon) to precisely determine when the Stage 3 filter should be changed.

BUYING IS A MISTAKE
3/5

Beware of Buyers: Buy at your own riskbr>NO REFUND/EXCHANGE PROVIDEDbr>I had the system for about 3 1/2 years and thought it was time to replace the membrane filter, despite the fact that the meter read 15ppm and it took me about 2 hours to fill the empty tank. Ordered and received promptly; replacing it took no time at all, and it appeared to work fine, I reasoned, since I only use about 2-percent of the time. Every day, 3 gallons are consumed. It only produced about 1 gallon per day after four months of use. As a result, I contacted the seller and received a response along with instructions for a possible resolution. I followed the instructions and measured the pressure in the tank to be less than 1 psi, so I added air to raise the pressure to around 6 psi, as the instruction stated. Now there was no water filling the tank and no drinking water, so I contacted the seller, who advised me to double-check that the filter was fully closed. I double-check all of the filters, and they're all turned on. I reduced the tank pressure to below 1 in order to get some drinking water, and I was able to fill the tank again, but only about 1 gallon per 24 hours. I explained the situation to the seller and stated that the filter appeared to be defective; however, I was told that the filter was not defective because the tank was filling. WHAT? At the most, it can produce 1 gallon per day. Isn't it a flaw if it doesn't produce 50 gallons per day and no water when the pressure is set to 6 psi as directed? br>I requested a refund on Amazon, but the seller refused, claiming that I was not using the device according to its specifications. When I filed a claim, the seller responded that by lowering the tank pressure to 5-psi, the problem would be solved. Even though I already told him that when I set the tank pressure to 6 psi, I get no water, 7 psi will fill the tank. I placed an order for Home- Master RO systems offer a 5-year warranty on their products.

PRODUCT HAS NEVER WORKED BECAUSE IT IS DEFECTIVE
3/5

This product has always worked for me when I've purchased it previously.
2. However, it did not happen this time. Our handyman put it in, but it only let out a small amount of water and a red light.
3. That product was supposed to work in the end, but it didn't.
4. I had a handyman come out to look at it, and he took it apart and reinstalled it, but it still wasn't working.
5. He reinstalled the old filter, which now functions properly, though I will need to replace it soon.
6. Unfortunately, while I was waiting for this product to work, the return window closed. br>I'm hoping for a replacement from the vendor. Prior filters were set up by the same handyman. The filter came with instructions printed on the side, which were simple enough to follow: twist and turn
3/5

Water spilled all over the place after the filter was removed, and the old filter still has a red hose attached to it. The hose was not mentioned in the filter's instructions. I watched their video on YouTube. br>br> Make sure you have a bucket nearby, according to the video. The video does not show how to remove the red hose and instead instructs you to perform another step with it. However, there are no specific instructions. br>br>All right, let's get started. This company is aware that there are additional steps to changing the filter, but it does not include any instructions in the package or on the filter itself. Instead, you're expected to understand how to watch a YouTube video that isn't complete. At this point, I'm ready to toss out this system and install something new.

Installation was simple, there were no leaks, and the system worked flawlessly
5/5

At first (about 2 weeks), I was concerned because the faucet was leaking a lot of air. There was a sucking noise for a while, but it stopped, and the RO system is back to normal. This was the same noise that had prompted me to replace the filter in the first place (roughly 2. Use for 5 years). Here are some statistics on filtration: 550 PPM for ordinary tap water; At the time of replacement, the old filter(s) had an 80 PPM rating; 30 PPM new filter (I also used a Costco package to replace the other three canisters) When I first installed the RO, the best results I got were 30 PPM, so we're back to where we were before. I am pleased with the results and find this RO system to be very useful. Much better than my old RO, which used to leak for days after replacing cartridges!.

Instructions are terrible
3/5

A small white tube with a small red stopper can be found on the bottom of the membrane when you open the package. The instructions made no mention of this tube. There's no way of knowing where it is or how to get it replaced. You might end up with a flooded kitchen if you don't replace it. It looks like it's a back pressure sensor of some sort. The old one is stuck at the top of the tube leading to the dispenser. Before pressing the new tube into the bottom of the filter, you must remove the small red stopper, feed the new tube up into the larger tube, and replace the stopper. Knowing this instead of figuring it out on my own would have been preferable.

Water pressure is too strong for the new connector
3/5

It's a very cheap connection. It has burst, resulting in a flood of water on the ground. When I compared it to the previous one, I could tell the difference. The old connection is solid, whereas the new one isn't, and it can't handle high water pressure.
