It's a 10 inch standard filter. I recommend that you look at the aquasana website to see what size filters they have, or simply measure the one you have.

Because of the sediment in well water, you'll need a pre-filter for both. If you only use the 5 micron filter, you'll have to replace it far too frequently.
We spritz a small amount of water outward over the well with a small device attached to the well's top. Why it works is a mystery to me. It doesn't appear to be the case, but it is. br>Since we installed ours, all of our neighbors have done so as well, and we now have fantastic water with no odor. For over 15 years, we've been using this method. The only maintenance required is a water cleaning once or twice a year. A 5- The task takes ten minutes. br>It's cheap to have installed, but if you know where to buy them, it's even cheaper to do it yourself.br>I believe we got ours from Outwater or possibly an online pump store. Swimming pool components You can also contact the person who installed your well pump for more information. It is, in fact, effective.br>

I suppose the best filter depends on your water pressure; I have about 30-pounds of pressure because my water comes from a well. 50 psi. I have a carbon filter in the kitchen sink, a whole-house 50 micron filter, and two 50 micron filters coming from the well. In addition, I have a charcol and alkaline filter on my counter. For the 30-inch screen, the 50 micron filter is just right. 50 psi. There is a two-person household and a large garden area. I've tried small micron filters, but they cause me to lose too much pressure. Also, keep in mind that I replace them every month but power wash them and reuse them.
They filter city water, but because we live at the end of a dead end street, we get a lot of sediment and rust, so I use a 50 micron primary filter and a 20 micron secondary filter. br>It's a fantastic solution. The water is crystal clear. The water pressure will drop in 2 to 3 months. It's clear that the filters need to be changed. Other types of filters have been tried, but none of them filter as well or as long as Membrane Solutions.
These were purchased to filter the silt from my water. In the past, I used a different brand of 10 micron yarn filters at home. I replaced the old filter, which was still working properly but was heavily clogged. My water turned brown as soon as I replaced it. I tried a different filter and got the same result; the filter isn't clogged and no gaskets appear to be missing. So I dashed to the nearest home improvement store and bought a 25-pound bag of cement. The water changed from a darker brown to almost clear after passing through a 30 micron yarn filter. This product is a waste of money.
I bought a 20 micron AO Smith filter for removing sediment from well water. There are no problems with sediment removal, and I can see when the cartridge needs to be replaced because the filter housing is clear. This is a standard 10" x 2" x 2" x 2" x 2" x 2" I'm 5'1" and I've seen reviews that say it doesn't fit. When replacing the filter, make sure the filter opening is seated properly in the top of the housing pipe, which can be difficult because you can't see if the filter is properly seated. When trying to screw it in, you can usually tell if it's not seated because there's resistance. I need to determine if the filter is centered in the housing, which is difficult with many manufacturers' blue housing.
I debated a few options and ultimately chose these based on reviews and price, but I'll spend the extra money next time. Because I use well water, I have a two-stage filtration system in place. As a result, this aids in filtering and general odor control, as well as staining caused by high iron content. These were a huge disappointment. My regular brand is twice as expensive, but it works just as well. When they say you pay for what you get, I guess they're serious.
The height and diameter of these water filters are just right. They're used in whole-house water filters in my house. Excellent value for money and prompt delivery. Most other manufacturers' two-packs are far less convenient than a six-pack from us. I will most certainly reorder as needed.
Why should you spend more money? Price is reasonable, and delivery is prompt. For contamination-free storage, it was well packaged for shipping and individually packed inside the master pack. These have been providing excellent service.
This is the first stage of our two-stage drinking water filter. It's being followed by a 1 micron carbon filter. This is a fantastic match. When I run out, I'll repurchase it.
