I'd be hesitant to use a filter as a substitute unless you can see if it's a viable option on the internet.
Without a doubt. Because it is carbon-based, the filter's properties are based on taste, color, and odor. For a simple drink from a faucet, there are other options. Scale control for ice (or coffee) is included in this cartridge. Perhaps a cartridge from the ow4 or ow2 series.
It does not come with a warranty from the manufacturer. Nice Ice Baby, on the other hand, will give you a 30-day defect warranty if you buy it from them.

I use this filter for the water that goes into my ice machine, which I've had for ten years. Replace the filter every 12 months or whenever it becomes necessary. So always have a spare on hand. I've never had a problem with this brand or product; I'm just surprised that they're using the wrong supplier. This was purchased on AMAZON 6- 8 months ago, everything was shrink wrapped and the booklet was included. It was just saved as a backup. I was completely surprised six months later when I opened it to replace the old one. Pictures attached. There was a used filter under the black cap, with parts loose and moving on the inside, and a black powder coming out of the top. Usage marks can be seen on both sides. br>So the return deadline has passed, but at the very least, I want them to be aware of who they are purchasing from.
An Everpure EV9324 was installed. When installing a Manitowoc UD0140A NEO Series Undercounter Dice Cube Ice Maker, the first step is to install the water filter assembly. This is the water filter assembly's replacement filter. This filter was recommended by a Manitowoc distributor because of its excellent filtering and low maintenance requirements. Screws on and off for quick and easy replacement (remember to turn off inlet flow and bleed off outlet pressure before doing so). Replaced after a year of very low ice machine usage while the house was being built, and will replace more frequently if the pressure gauge on the outlet side shows a drop in water pressure, indicating that the filter is becoming clogged. br>br>Amazon was used to purchase this item. com, which had it packaged properly to avoid damage and was reasonably priced in comparison to other online merchants.
They appear to be increasing in price, as with all good filters, but aside from that, it's a great ice machine replacement.
It's amazing how well it works! I would strongly recommend it for ice machine applications as well as general hard water removal from appliances!.
I have 32 years of experience as a plumber. br>The feature that I liked the most about this brand EverPure filter is the water flow. I will never go back to Reverse Osmosis, which only gives you 3 gallons and requires you to wait for pressures, and for every 3 gallons of water wasted, 2 gallons goes down the drain. br>EverPur is number one, and I never fail to recommend it.
