Over the last 6 months, I've noticed a significant decrease in the length of time between replacements since purchasing the Culligan P5 4 pack. Prior to that, when I bought this Culligan P5 from Lowes, I was able to get about 2-gallons of water out of it. After three months of use, it's time to replace it. My previous four packs of filters only lasted about a month on average. This recent order arrived in a different package, with the label reading Standard Filtration rather than Premium Filtration. When I called Culligan's Customer Service, the representative informed me that Culligan only sells two packs of this filter, not four. He did mention that the packaging for this particular filter no longer says Premium, but only Standard filtration. He was quick to point out that this was not a genuine Culligan product. I will only buy the Culligan 2 packs in the future, despite the fact that they are more expensive; the agent stated that Lowes no longer carries this filter, but Ace Hardware does. I'll have to see how long the two Amazon packs last. I'm not sure yet.
It was great to discover these for a lower price on Amazon - For $15, you get four filters. It seems like you might be able to save another 5% on Subscribe . These water filters can also be purchased at a reduced price. I paid $15 for them because I needed one right away and didn't want to wait for my Subscriber box to arrive. Save day. However, I've already added a new set to my subscription list. Now is the best time to buy because this is the lowest price available. These filters are also universal, and they work perfectly in my GE Whole House Water Filter (filtering a significant amount of sediment from our water)! br>br>I included a few photos because the packaging appears to have changed since I bought them the first time.
I'm using water from the Boston area. I grew up in this town and have always assumed that the water is safe to drink. Well, the unit came with the house when I purchased it 20 years ago. I have to replace the filter every 30 to 90 days, and everyone I tell to get one of these inexpensive units is skeptical. My filters are clogged with tiny particles that I would otherwise drink if they weren't clogged. So, here's how it goes: Culligan Man, I owe you a debt of gratitude! These filters pick up on things you can't see. They're at work, so that's good.
The filters included in the Iast package were covered in white fuzz/lint. If your filter is releasing plastic particles into your water, it kind of defeats the purpose. When I called Culligan, they essentially said, "I'm S. " Unless I'm able to return them to Amazon, which is unlikely. I'll never buy them again because of the excellent customer service.
Every year for my well, I purchase a 14-pack. They do an excellent job of keeping iron and other contaminants out of my drinking water. Because of the mineral content, we do not drink the well water, but we do use it for everything else. I gave it zero stars for flavor because we don't drink it, not because it's ineffective.
We've dug a hole for ourselves. Our water pitchers have recently taken on a brownish hue. We switched to this product and noticed an improvement in the clarity of our water. For the past three weeks, we've had one in: Still working on it. For the money, this is a fantastic purchase.
In my whole-house water filter, I use it as a sediment filter. Filtration at a good level without lowering the pressure. In my area, it lasts about 4 months. It's possible that I could go on. It all depends on the situation. It's cheap enough that you won't have to worry about replacing it.
Our water flow became so slow that I couldn't flush the toilet and wash my hands at the same time; I tried everything I could think of but couldn't figure out what was wrong. After all the hassle, I finally got this product and replaced the old one. The results were incredible; we couldn't believe the water flow had returned to normal.
