It takes FOREVER to filter with PUR filters

In the beginning, I was really disappointed with how slowly it filled up and when I first bought my PUR water pitcher. I then found out they were offering reconditioned filters one day when I bought new filters I believe they were fast and well designed. It was a pleasure to work with them. No idea what happened, but the filters now seem fast the first time you use them, then extremely slow in the second and third attempts. When I go to pour a glass of water out, it leaks out and spills. Sometimes even when the container empties completely, it doesn't empty all the way. And I don't know what the purpose of the flapper on the stopper is. I have to hold it open with one hand while pouring with the other. I have to dribble it.

With all of the dirt and hair on the filter, it was absolutely disgusting. Where is the water going to come from? How am I supposed to use it?.

With this new design, the water flows much more quickly than ever before. At first, I thought I hadn't inserted it correctly since the water was so quick. The surprise I felt when I double-checked was very pleasant In checking the box for instructions, I noticed that it had been improved and was said to be "two times as fast. " It was more than worth the additional cost!.
