There is a strong iron taste in our water, and we have noticed that our plumbing fixtures are darker than usual. We will be replacing our old one with a new one after I order one.

The replacement filter for the Home Guard 3 stage filter system has not been used yet, but it is a replacement for the Home Guard. As if by magic, it works. Since the fixtures are no longer yellowed by water after 18 years, we can remain clear every day. The pressure and flow did not drop. I love the solution you came up with! On the shelf, I have a replacement set for it.
I like it a lot. I've had it installed with this filter (I use a three stage filter system from Home Master) since April and have never had to replace it. It is something I purchased so that I will have one on hand when the time comes for me to replace it.
