Is it going to be long before this filter is changed?

The amount depends on the type of water you use. It takes 2 to 3 months for my TDS reading to exceed 6 ppm, and I then need to change the filter

Where can I get the instructions for selecting the correct filter for my pitcher order?

A filter from the Zero Water company or one that is referred to as compatible with the Zero Filter would be ideal. Be sure that yours is referenced as a compatible pitcher size as there are different sizes of Zero Water pitchers. It is important that you purchase it from a reliable seller, however. An independent seller sent me bad filters that I never heard from again, and I never heard back from him. Similarly, I ordered a different filter from a company that provides compatible filters, but which is not made by Zero Water, and noticed a plastic-like material on this one as well In my opinion, Zero Water filters are best for me. It may be of some help.

How can a filter cost so much? Do you really mean that?

A bad taste, very chemical taste. Contacted Zero Water for troubleshooting. They said this dealer is not listed as an authorised dealer on Zero Water's website.

The filter was clearly defective. You could tell from the look of it that it was extremely old and dried out. They were cleaned and put in the filter, and the dark brown water in the pitcher filtered. There were numerous small holes in the bags that they came in when you inspected them. When I heard from the company on Tuesday, I was expecting my order. On Wednesday, I noticed little black spots When I first connected the new filters, I didn't connect the old ones at all. Nevertheless, I have seen the specks every day since - and today I saw 1) I purchased the Zero system in order to purify my city water, not The remaining filters will be returned as soon as possible. Here in our area, the water is terrible. There are over 250 TDS measured on the meter. All the junk is removed and brought to zero by these filters! Zero Water can be a little more expensive than Brita or Pur, but they don't take out as much contamination as Brita or Pur.
