We order it again when it needs to be replaced. The last time we ordered any was when we had overstocked, so we did not order any. We received the new ones today, and the pitcher is now full. As it turns out, they are significantly smaller than before! Space is not a problem because it is not tight. This structure is surrounded by and runs right through the water! All you have to do is submerge the filter in water for 15 minutes, then rinse it for two minutes under running water. You will need to remove the two small, round plastic stickers from the bottom of the filter before you can install it. It tastes great when you drink water. This pitcher has been in my possession for three years, but I am having trouble with the filter falling out when I pour the water out and tip the pitcher forward. It's a bit annoying, then. We should not have this problem when we are spending so much money on filters and pitchers. It has been my experience that you shouldn't tip the pitcher all the way forward, and you need to press the filter slightly down periodically to ensure it's installed. Even though I can deal with it, I think the filter could offer a better fit given the price tag. If the filters did not have this issue, I would give them five stars.

Because I liked their service in this way, I gave them 3 stars, but if I had the option I would have given them 2 stars. The cartridge sticks to the pitcher because as soon as it is placed in the pitcher and is soaked, it floats up and does not stay there. As a test, I tried both cartridges and both did the same thing. I thought perhaps the cartridge was defective, so I tried the other one. Apart from that, the water taste is clean once the water holes in the cartridge are open.

The filters are just fine. These replace our old filters when they need to be replaced. The water tastes much better than the other filtered faucet water container we have (Zero) and they work perfectly. The water I use in our household is actually double-purified first, using our regular pitcher, then pouring it into the alkaline pitcher after it has been filtered. Is there a reason not to?.

Due to the fact that I did not see FDA approval anywhere on the box, I am now worried. As any consumer knows, replacements usually arrive, and I follow the instructions regarding submerging and cleaning them. The first one gave the water an unpleasant metallic taste, while the second one gave it a similar taste, not exactly the same as the first one Though the original pitcher came with good tasting ice cream, I am not sure why these are different, but I guess it was just a fluke. Is it dangerous to drink this water as it tastes so weird? What is in this filter to give it such a strange taste? Water from the tap may not be as healthy.

The fact that I can order them from Amazon and have them in two days if I miss the replacement date is convenient to me. This is a very handy tool! Cartridges from this manufacturer have a very low price when compared with those of other brands. Only problem I have faced is that the cartridges have a tendency to float into the reservoir, so some of the water is not filtered. I have learned what to do when those things may happen and I tilt the pitcher less. I have solved the problem!.
