As soon as I ordered them, the same thing happened to me. They are fake and should not be used. Unfortunately, I think you have to order the filters directly from ZeroWater if you want genuine filters that will bring your ppm to 0.
The ZeroWater wrap is used to package them.
I'm afraid there is no expiration date anywhere on the filter, either on the packaging it came in or on the individual bags inside it. Even on the actual filter itself there is no expiration date. Having received the replacement filters from ZeroWater, I noticed a few differences between the original ZeroWater filters and these replacement filters. In addition to that, I noticed that when you unscrew the blue cap from the filter, you will find grit that almost looks like black sand. A note on the package indicates that it is assembled in Mexico with components imported from abroad. Although it is 100% different from the filter you receive when you order from ZeroWater directly. It was disgusting to find that when I filtered water using one of these new replacement filters, the TDS actually went up from 237 PPM to 672 PPM. Therefore, the dissolved solids were higher and the company should be banned from operating.

Given that these weren't as efficient as the plastic ones I bought at the store, I didn't buy these. As I opened one of them that was wet inside the plastic bag, I threw out the rest of them and went to the store again to buy replacement filters. I bought filters from the store and they worked just as well as the original ones. We will never purchase filters from Amazon again since we cannot be sure that they are genuine.
According to the test, my water had a BRI of 571, my tapwater was BRI of What could be higher than the tap water I put in it, if the zero filter is so low. As I spent a lot of money on the filters, I wasn't too happy with it.
This is not a good buy. As far as ZeroWater is concerned, they are counterfit. It produces a gross yellow color when all of them are used On the TDS meter, it reads green liquid with a lower TDS value than tapwater. There's no way I figure out how Amazon is letting them make use of ZeroWater's brand.
The black powder leaking through the top of ALL the filters we opened was found to be a result of opening the filters. My email has been sent to the seller, but I also believe Amazon should take some responsibility for the sale of this defective product as numerous comments point out that we are not the only ones experiencing difficulty with these replacement filters, but no one is getting any satisfaction from Amazon or the seller. There must be a solution to this problem.
I had to return the items. As the water came out, it was worse than as it went Zero Water filters are excellent when they are real, genuine products. I have worked with other brands before and they are excellent. Ensure that the manufacturer has been checked carefully. It's better to pass on them if they're not Zero Water replacement filters. There are two little plastic circles in the center of the retainer of real ones, but I don't see those on the fake. The package and everything else is exactly You need to take care.
There were 600m of water in the reservoir with yellow water pouring out! The water that came out of the faucet was worse than what had come out of the faucet.
There's nothing to worry about! There will be a use for them. As a ZeroWater user, I find the water filtration device to be an excellent device. When I ordered replacement filters that were not larger than I needed (from another company), the description was unclear. Therefore, they looked the same as the filters that came with the pitcher, but they were far too small to hold water in. I think that's no longer an issue, now that I have found the correct part number. Your site is easy to use and I received my order very quickly after placing it. Thanks a lot!.
This filter successfully removes particles, creating a pleasant taste in your water. When the filter is exhausted, it leaves a bitter taste in your water (even worse than your faucet water original). The particle counting tester does not need to be used. My filter does not last as long as I would like it to!.
