Questions & Answers

When I have a hidden take in the wall that pipes directly to the toilet, how do I connect my washlet to my 3/8 valve?

Here's what I did with the two walls that I already had. Toto toilets are mounted on a wall. Get a 3/8" tee to tee off from an existing water source (bathroom faucet), then run a 3/8" compression line (copper or braided stainless steel) up to the Washlet and connect it with a 3/8" comp male to 1/2" O. Connects to the Washlet water supply hose via a male adapter fitting. I had to go to a real hardware store to find all the fittings and hoses, so make sure you put a flat rubber washer inside the white Washlet water connector housing to give the 1/2" male brass part something to tighten against.

I'm installing a Gerberit carrier, but I'd like to use a Toto bowl and washlet seat instead. Can this be connected to its own water supply, separate from the toile?

Hello, Any of the current WASHLET models can be installed in an in-wall system and all of them will share the same water supply. Make sure the port for delivering water to the WASHLET remains accessible while installing the tank system. This port is on the bottom left-hand side of the screen. When facing the toilet, place your hand on the right-hand side of the tank. To connect the WASHLET to this port, you'll need this adapter, THU468, as well as part YT820 or YT830 for the push button. To see if any additional tools or hardware are required, go to the TOTO USA website and look at the installation instructions. TOTO USA Incorporated has a YouTube channel where you can see an installation video. I hope this information is useful! Thank you for your interest in TOTO and please let me know if you have any further questions.

For a wall urinal, is there a flush valve?

Hello, this is not a flush valve for a wall-mounted toilet. Urinal that has been suspended from the ceiling. It's a WASHLET in-home installation kit. WASHLET installation on in-wall tank systems is made easier with the help of wall tank systems. Systems for a toilet and a wall tank I hope this answers your question, and I appreciate you choosing TOTO!

I have a geberit inwall tank and aquia mounted on a pex wall stub. What is the connection between my pex wall stub and the kit shut off value? Is it possible to substitute a push valve?

Hello, The WASHLET water supply hose can be connected with this adapter. A 1/2-inch NPSM is used to attach to a 1/2-inch nipple. TOTO in- The kit can be connected to the wall tanks via a 1/2 inch port. Additional tanks or a setup It's possible that ups will necessitate some adaptation. D- is not required
3/5

Washlet in the shape of a triangle - There are a variety of less expensive alternatives. To be clear, the package includes a $10 Brasscraft G23301X valve with a 1/2" female "iron pipe" thread (FIP) on the input and "7/16 in. & 1 /2 in. The output has a "slip joint," which is the same as a 1/2" male "iron pipe" (MIP) thread. An adapter that threads onto the valve's output and has a male end with a proprietary(? )connection is also included. The Washlet hose has a ) thread on it. The "D-" is confirmed by a note included in the package. Because the hose on the Washlet is 1/2" pipe thread, it doesn't require an adapter. So, if you've got the "D-," you're in luck. You'll only need a Brasscraft G23301X valve if you want to make a "shaped" Washlet. If you have a 1/2" copper pipe, you'll need to either sweat a 1/2" MIP adapter onto it or use a Brasscraft G23341X valve, which has the same output as the valve mentioned above but a 5/8" compression inlet that simply tightens onto a 1/2" copper pipe. If you have the Washlet with the "proprietary" hose threads, you'll need the adapter from this kit plus a Brasscraft G23341X valve to attach it. It's possible that the adapter can be purchased separately. I'm not sure what I'm saying. br>br>The stainless braided supply hose that comes with the Washlet can be removed, but on my "D-style" Washlet, it's not necessary. I'm going with a valve with a 5/8" compression fitting on the inlet (to attach to 1/2" copper pipe) and a "7/16 in. shaped" seat because the connector on the seat end is some sort of compression fitting I can't identify (not 3/8", not 1/2"), and the connector on the seat end is some sort of compression fitting I can't identify (not 3/8", not 1/2"), so I'm going with a valve with a 5/8" compression fitting on the inlet & 1 /2 in. The Kingston Brass KF5430MB has a "slip joint" on the output that is the same as a 1/2" male "iron pipe" (MIP) thread.

There is no other option if you require it; however, installation may be difficult

I wish the entire process was simpler, and that reliable information was more easily accessible. br>br>I already had a TOTO Aquia wall-mounted faucet. Toilet bowl was suspended from a Geberit Duofix in-wall bracket. Model 111 is a wall toilet carrier system with a Sigma concealed tank for 2x6 construction. 335 5) - That was quite a mouthful, to say the least. Then I bought this kit, as well as a TOTO S550e Washlet. br>br>I figured out the bowl by looking at the TOTO product line and visually comparing it to what I had; additionally, my bowl had the flush volume printed on the side, which I could compare to the specs on TOTO's website. br>br>I figured out the in-line filter by looking at the TOTO product line and visually comparing it to what I had. br>br>I figured out the in-line filter by looking at the TOTO product To reveal the 111. wall carrier, remove the flush actuator panel and some of the other pieces behind it. 335 The inside of the tank has a 5 model number printed on it. br>br>It was extremely difficult to obtain firm confirmation that this TOTO THU468 part was required (it took weeks to even discover it existed), and then I discovered that Geberit made a bidet accessory kit (model 249) by looking at the Geberit website for my carrier's parts catalog. 801 1) to use with a bidet seat, to install a water outlet on the wall. (Depending on your Geberit carrier model, you may also need another part. ) I was actually looking through that parts manual for something completely unrelated, so I only noticed this by chance. I had some questions, so I called Geberit support (who were very quick to respond and very helpful, by the way), and they sent me a not-for-profit letter. very- professional-looking looking- but- still- a handy PDF that explains how to use their kit with the carrier and various bidet seats The installation manual that comes with the kit is a professional-quality document. Although it appears to be a professional document, some sections are more difficult to comprehend than an IKEA assembly manual. br>br>The Geberit kit includes a hose that needs to be snaked into the tank. I won't bore you with the details, but drilling into tile without cracking it wasn't easy either - Make sure you've done your homework and that you've taken accurate measurements. I was fortunate in that I was able to open the wall *behind* my toilet to see *exactly* where I needed to drill, and I actually drilled from the inside of the wall through the tile into the bathroom, rather than from the tile into the wall, to ensure I got the hole just right. However, most people are unlikely to have that option, so best of luck. The Geberit parts catalog PDF includes some measurements for the distance between the bidet hose conduit (where the hole must be drilled) and the screw holding your toilet bowl in place, but that distance is incorrect. br>br>The TOTO kit includes a BrassCraft "G23301X C" quarter-inch quarter-inch quarter-inch quarter-inch quarter-inch quarter-inch quarter-inch quarter-inch quarter-inch quarter-inch quarter-inch quarter-inch quarter-inch quarter-inch quarter- A 1/2" FIP inlet and a 1/2" FIP outlet are used to create a turn angle stop. Slip-on 7/16" outlet for the joint Because BrassCraft is based in the United States, all of these sizes comply with US plumbing regulations. The important thing to remember is that FIP stands for Female Iron Pipe, and the inlet is female. threaded (the threads are on the inside of the container). I didn't bother to look up the terms for the valve's outlet because they don't really matter - It's only important that it's the right size and threaded to connect to the adapter (which is the only part of this TOTO kit that you can't get anywhere else). br>br>The Geberit kit comes with a hose that snakes through the wall and connects to the tank's valve. A female-only connector is located at the hose's bottom end. The hose is connected by a threaded connector. A stop valve is also included in the kit. a Schell P212IA, in particular the version with a *15mm* inner diameter inlet. It's a male-only inlet. threaded for connection to the hose's bottom end The TOTO adapter cannot connect to the Schell valve's outlet because it is too small. br>br>You may have noticed that there are some additional issues here. One of the Schell's millimeter measurements was mentioned earlier - Geberit, like it, is a European company. As a result, the sizes of these items DO NOT FOLLOW US STANDARDS; instead, they follow a different set of guidelines, and the BrassCraft's inlet is female. The bottom of the Geberit hose is threaded as well, so how do you connect the two? br>br>That inexperienced-looking br>br> The required part was mentioned in the Geberit PDF, but I had missed it at first. A 1/2" nipple (chuckle if you must) is essentially a short pipe with the same size male-female threads. Both ends are threaded. You may prefer a "close nipple" so that it is as short as possible and does not protrude too far from your wall. I had my doubts at first because I couldn't get the male inlet of the Schell valve to fit into the female inlet of the BrassCraft valve. I figured that if the Schell valve can screw into the Geberit hose, and this nipple (which is the same size on both ends) can screw into the hose and into the BrassCraft valve, I should be able to screw the Schell valve into the BrassCraft valve as well. br>br>What I didn't realize was that the nipple would be tapered according to American standards. To put it another way, the outer diameter of the nipple is narrower at the ends and wider in the middle. So it worked, but it only screwed about a 1/4" into the BrassCraft valve, and it was able to screw even further into the Geberit hose. Both ends of the nipple must be sealed with teflon tape (or another thread sealant), and you may need to redo it a few times, experimenting with different amounts of tape until you get it to seal properly and not leak. As of this writing, I'm still trying to figure out how to do it without a leak (which appears to be coming from the nipple connecting to the BrassCraft valve). br>br>UPDATE: br>br> I figured out what was causing it to leak. This kit comes with a thin gasket that is easy to lose if it gets caught between papers or something, and then easy to forget about if you don't work on the project for a few months after purchasing it. Anyway, I used the gasket and teflon tape to reattach the adapter to the valve, and it worked this time, with no leaks.

There are no technical details on any of the components, which makes it so expensive
3/5

What a PIA nightmare. br>br>If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innovative" and "paraphrase. " Toto washlet and bidet wall system I needed a female to female, 1/2 union (at least, that's what it appears to be; I was able to thread it easily on the Home Depot displays). ) Just to be safe, I looked at the valve to see if I could find a replacement. This item is not available at Home Depot (which is strange given that it is Made in the USA). So, in the unlikely event that you need to replace this valve, say if you scuff it while installing it, you'll have to do so. Be prepared to spend an additional $50! br>br> Tried 1/2 in a variety of formats, including straight on both ends, flared on both sides, and both flared. br>I hope this information is useful!.

Never, ever, ever wipe
5/5

Do you have a Washlet because it's the end of the world? Don't get caught off guard; get this connector so you can bask in the warm embrace of gentle cleansing and never use sandpaper masquerading as two ply again. br>If you need to connect directly to the water from your wall, this THU468 works for Washlets that require a different connector. We have a team of in-house experts. I needed the THU805 part for a wall tank (specifically, the W173M TOTO DuoFit), which I couldn't find anywhere. So I took a chance, and it turned out to be a huge success! Yay!.

Toto washlet seat is a must-have
5/5

This product does what it says it will do, but it is a bit pricey. Unfortunately, you'll need this for the washlet seat, which, by the way, is fantastic.

However, the adapter did not work properly

We needed the TH3141 adapter, but Toto only sells it as part of this overpriced kit that includes parts we don't require.

There are no leaks, so it's a win-win situation
5/5

I have a Geberit toilet system that is mounted on the wall, as well as a Toto toilet and washlet. This was required in order for it to function as a shut-off valve. There are no leaks, so it's a win-win situation. Tape made of tephlon is required.
