In my case, I did not use the gasket in the kit but used many other components. *br>On the other hand, another problem I have noticed involves a leaky tank, and the method used to fix it may prove helpful to Almost all of the nuts and bolts connecting the tank to the bowl are made of different metals or alloys. Brass bolts and stainless steel nuts and washers are usually used while stainless steel washers are used for the nuts. There is often rusting when metals that are dissimilar are near each other and are submerged in water. Due to these loose particles of rust, leaks occur from the tank once they lodge in between the seals. It was possible for me to resolve this problem with stainless steel bolts, nuts and metal washers in addition to the rubber washers that are also required.
No, I am not sure what to do. In general, the cable should fit most standard models, and I believe most models fall into this category.
There is no need to modify the toilet if you are using a builders grade toilet

It is the first time I have experienced an issue with the toilet tank leaking. I am satisfied with the results of this kit. You might want to try this if you have a leak from the tank into the bowl and floor. To shut off the water, turn the valve off first. Next, prepare the toilet by laying some towels around it. After flushing the toilet, turn off all the water. Once the tank is empty, use a sponge to wipe it out. Unbolt and disconnect the tank after disconnecting the hose and unbolting the hose. Once the gasket is removed, replace it with a new one. Put the new gasket on next. Then you have to sort of work it out all the way. Once the tank has been replaced and the bolts inserted, tighten the bolts. Turn off the water and tighten them a bit on each side. Then reconnect the hose and turn it back on. I found it to be helpful.
In my spare time I repair as many things as I can. On the toilet tank, they don't seem to have changed the bolts since they were installed. My only way out of these boltas was to literally hack them off with a hacksaw blade. There was a serious sting in the tail! What if you put new bolts in the tank and it no longer leaks? The lemon squeezer is easy peasy! It's easy to install these in my house, but I do not know what toilet I have. I am a woman, by the way. Ladies, this is something you can absolutely achieve!.
The design of this tank is one I have never seen in another The gasket in the bowl. The thick plastic cover has cutouts that enable a snug fit around the large hexagonal plastic nut that secures the flush valve at the bottom of the tank it sits on. This photo shows how to do it. It may not be 2" compatible or universal, but this one did fit around both the large hexagonal nut and snugly fit around both the protruding 2" flush tube at the same time. The result is a perfect fit with zero stretching or slack The stainless steel screws/washers are also a nice feature for adding a bit of extra strength This material has an advantage over brass in terms of corrosion. I found this kit to be very useful once installed.
had to disassemble all of the Aquasource toilets from Lowes I had installed in my bathrooms over the past few years when I redid them this fall. Originally, I ordered one Fluidmaster kit for the first toilet, but had time to order these for the second and third as well. As for the gasket and bolts, I hope they will be more durable than the Brass ones I used to use, and I hope the stainless steel will hold up better in our harsh water. My toilets will need to be examined for corrosion, as I'm still not sure whether it is present.
three other, more expensive toilet tank seal kits, the Korky 464BP by Korky was an ideal fit for my 1990 vintage American Standard Cadet toilet with a two-piece tank and two-way valve An inch is one inch. Installation of the tank. There were even pre-construction plans for the Korky Formet indentations for the hexagons of the fittings. My plan is to use silicone grease to coat the entire gasket in order to make it more resistant to chlorinated water.
Oh, my. Ah, that makes sense. The Universal is NOT universal and the Universal doesn't apply to the Universal A rounded object. Fitted the nut to the universal-but not the nut to the tool It is NOT universal because it is a roundle. Since the screws were nice, we used them and got a replacement unit that fitted In addition to being stiff, this was also quite hard. The concept may have been good if it fit the universal moniker, but it wasn't.
My Toto toilet is having problems with the leaking lid after a few months. It was easy to install, but ended up leaking after a few months. There was no mention of my toilet model being compatible with the list. Therefore it was a total waste of money, not to mention the cost of the water I wasted (it's not cheap in LA).
