In front of our double sink, I installed this adjustable width towel bar to replace two single folded dish towel bars in the false double drawer cabinet face. I didn't want to drill any additional holes in the cabinet face, so I mounted this bar using the two existing outer holes. To align the mounting plate with the existing cabinet holes, I had to rotate it slightly. With the longer span, I can now hang two unfolded dish towels, allowing them to dry faster and preventing the bar from interfering with dishwashing.
Because the two halves of the adjustable telescoping rod are not rigid, the rod is very wobbly in the center after mounting, despite the rigid fixation of the mounts at the rod's end. There are a total of 26 people who can use it. 3 inches, which falls well within the parameters described.
This was incredibly simple to set up. It has a tremendous amount of power. We were replacing one that had fallen out of nowhere over the 10 years we've owned our home, and this was a great product at a reasonable price.
I got the adjustable one so I could reach a stud on both ends without having to rely on the ineffective little anchors that came with it. When mounted into studs, they are very sturdy. P. In addition, I used screws that were larger than the ones that came with it.
I was torn between getting towel hooks and getting a bar. This bar was ideal because it was adjustable and coordinated with the rest of my bathroom accessories. It's simple to put together and appears to be quite durable.
When fully extended, this towel bar does not provide enough support to prevent the center from sagging. look at the image! I recently remodeled a bathroom and fell in love with the look of this towel bar. I installed this towel bar fully extended after having the bathroom remodeled and the walls textured and painted, and the towel bar is sagging in the center. This irritated me greatly because I had recently installed a new wall with holes for mounting this sagging towel bar. I'll just go to my local Home Depot and see if I can find a solid towel bar that will hopefully line up with the holes I've made.
The bar is very useful, but it should not be extended to its full length. There is a slight incline in the center when you fully extend. It complements the rest of the room's chrome.
With a nice matt black finish, this towel bar is simple and sleek in appearance. To hold dish towels and rags, it was simple to mount on the end of my 24" wide kitchen cabinet. It wiggles at the adjustable joint, according to some reviewers, but I believe that is only if you extend it too far to its widest point. Mine isn't as long as it could be, and it's rock-solid. solid. I'm very happy with the outcome.
