Brushed nickel is the finish. I found these pulls to be of the same high quality as those sold in big box stores for much more money.
The provided screws went all the way through the side of my vanity where I mounted it, so perhaps the cabinet bottom would be the same? If you don't want screw points poking through but still want it to be more securely mounted so that time, use, and gravity don't rip it down, you could use slightly shorter bolts with nuts...
It would be fine if you had a solid-core door. I wouldn't use a hollow core door to mount it to. It was going to rip out eventually.

I despised having to leave a hand towel on the counter. br>br>I came across these on Amazon and thought they'd be perfect! We only purchased one to begin with to see how we felt about it. br>br>This is something my husband and I have never done before. Some steps had to be done and undone. br>Once we decided we liked it, we ordered the second one and had it installed in no time! We don't pull on them and tell my little girl not to mess with them when it comes to sturdiness. They serve their purpose admirably as a towel rack! br>br>I'd order from you again in a heartbeat!.
It's a nice towel rack, and it's a nice towel rack. The instructions, on the other hand, essentially state, "attach to wall. " " To make things easier for you, the wall pieces should be centered 13. For the plastic anchors (at least the ones I had), you'll need a 5/16" drill bit (at least the ones I had).
I returned the first rack in the hopes that the replacement would not be defective, but I just opened the second replacement and it has the same issue. The screws for releasing the brackets are milled on an angle and jammed into the mounting brackets. I can't get these stuck screws out of the way so that I can mount the brackets. If I had to choose, I'd give this rack a one-star rating because it is CHEAPLY constructed. Before you buy something, take a look at where it was made. This isn't something you should buy.
This was a little difficult to hang, but it was well worth it. I learned a few things, and the towel rack turned out to be quite lovely. I would buy this item again if the need arose.
My husband quickly installed it, and it fits perfectly and serves as a small hand towel bar. I didn't have much room to work with, but this fit the bill perfectly. It appears to be quite solid so far.
In the half bath, the towel bar is used to keep a box of Kleenex hand towels. It really works. A hand towel simply does not work well in an area where hands are frequently washed. It appears that the hand towel never dries out. The towel bar can, of course, be used to hang a small hand towel when needed, but this little gem is perfect for the Kleenex box.
This was added to the second bathroom so that a towel could be found right next to the sink rather than hidden behind the door. It was simple to put in place. It would necessitate drilling holes and double-checking that the bar was level and centered. It's sturdy and looks great once it's up. It has made me very happy.
The style is straightforward and unpretentious. The material has a pleasant feel to it and is very affordable. The installation is a little challenging, but when done correctly, the bar is very sturdy and supportive!.
