It is dependent on the method of manufacture. Compare the old bars to the new bars in terms of overall length and mounting hole distance.
I'm not sure what I'm saying. Mine was attached to the side of a wooden cabinet.

The bar lacked essential installation hardware, such as drywall anchors and an Allen key for tightening it to the wall mount. I can forgive the lack of drywall anchors because products like this typically include low-quality drywall anchors that you shouldn't use anyway, but the Allen key is a major oversight.
This is an 18" bar, so keep that in mind. I was able to use this one because it was close enough. One thing I discovered was that the two mounting plates were different sizes, so I had to account for that in my measurements to ensure that it was level when completed.
This is the one I bought and placed next to the shower and tub. It was now much easier for someone to reach for it. The old towel bar was mounted on the wall above the toilet. It couldn't be fully lowered because it would collide with the toilet's top. It wasn't the right spot for a full-service bar. So I took down the towel bar and hung it next to the sink on the wall. This new towel bar takes its place next to the old one, but in a different spot. I'm very pleased with the end result; the towel bar is elegant and complements the other Moen fixtures nicely.
The adhesive, on the other hand, does not work. It remained up for about a half hour with nothing dangling from the bar before collapsing. Also, the brackets that hold the bar in place will not come out of the circular part, preventing it from being used.
It appears to be of good quality. The anchors and screws are included, and the installation is fairly straightforward.
They're a perfect match for my drawer pulls: br> The item is well-made and simple to set up. It can be installed in two different ways: with the use of screws and glue Although I used screws, it appears that glue could be used on flat, polished surfaces. I believe that installing with glue would be much easier, but I also believe that it would be less durable. It appears to be very nice. br>br>.
The screws went into the side of my solid wood vanity just fine, but it was difficult for my older hands and eyes to deal with the tiny parts, so I dropped it a few times - The black finish did not scratch, so it passed that little test, and it appears to be very sturdy once installed, so I'm optimistic! If anything changes, I'll let you know.
Other than that, there are no other places to hang a towel for the dishwasher, and you'll have to buy a hook. The towels would drag on the floor every time we opened the dishwasher, causing them to become dirty. I wanted to make certain that we had clean towels on hand to dry her hands after they had been washed. It'll fit perfectly in the dead drawer to make the most of the available space.
