It's a precise calculation.
I don't think you should put it outside.
This came without the necessary hardware, so I'm unable to install it at this time. Is there a picture of the hardware that someone has?
Two towels dry in about the same amount of time.

I'm just a little old lady who put it up herself. Anyone who comes over now must examine it. They won't get any cookies unless they say "awe, good job" to me.
I never expected to say it, but I finally have a nice rack!.
The entire thing is 5" in length and 23" in width. Even at its widest point, which is the support bar's decorative inner ends, it isn't 24" wide; the bar's usable space for towels is 21". A difference of 5" is significant.
It's very simple to set up and take down, and it's also very light.
The package was well-packaged and arrived quickly. The color is a matte black, which is exactly what I was looking for. The two towel bars, however, are loose underneath where they attach to the shelf right out of the box. I'm not sure if I'll be able to tighten them - To prevent the pieces from jiggling or moving, gorilla glue them to the frame. I'm keeping it because I don't want to deal with the hassle, but at this price, there should be no need for any rigging.
This towel rack has a great appearance. It's exactly what I was looking for in my bathroom renovation. I didn't have any hardware to install it with, so I used screws and anchors that I had on hand. The rack did not feel sturdy once it was in place. I tried to tighten it, but it was ineffective. I returned to Amazon and read some previous reviews, one of which stated that 50-pound anchors should be used. I tried using them, but the rack would not stay in place or hold firmly. I had to enlist the help of a local handyman to hang it. It's now affixed to the wall, but the handyman cautioned against putting too much weight on it because it won't support much. I've got two towels hanging and four rags on top right now, and it's holding up pretty well. I believe that for the price, I should have gotten the hardware and been able to hang it myself (as I have done with many other household items). If you're looking for a stylish rack, this is an excellent choice. I just wish it had come with all of the pieces and had been easier to hang when it arrived.
It really works.
I'd been on the lookout for a double towel rack for our camper for quite some time when I came across this one. There is enough room to hang two heavy towels with enough space between them to allow them to dry more quickly. Hand towels and washcloths can be stored on the top rack as well.
