Can you tell me what the actual interior dimensions are? Wouldn't it be nice to have something smaller than my old Rubbermaid post mounted unit?

A length of 18 1/2 inches. The length of the picture is 9 inches. The width of the rectangle is 6 1/4 inches. An excellent rating

Do you know if this model is molded in Would you please let me know if you have any extra door assemblies?

A single piece of plastic wasn't molded together. A lot of work has to go into it. The good news is that

Could you please let me know if these dimensions listed here are accurate? They say 22 x 12 inches. Each of these has a dimension of 15 The width of the 2 inch. What does this mean? Does it mean the height of the lamp is only 15 inches? Needs to be installed on the ground. ?

There is no rubbermail post it is just a typical post that has a 4 x 4 post in the ground with a rubbermail post covering it. The size of the device is 22" long and 12" wide. The width is four and the height is fifteen. Having a mailbox and a paper holder is the role of number 2. This is a great

I have no idea what I am doing. Does the "combo" come with the post? Its name implies it does, but its description implies that it does not. If you can help, I would appreciate it! ?

Essentially it's one solid piece of plastic with a hole in the bottom that slides onto a wood post. We ended up having to cut down a little section of our post to let it slide on. With the package, you will find bolts to hold the plastic to the post, so that it won't My husband and I are very happy with

Although a little wobbly, it is really hard to tell when it is wobbling as it is solid and durable otherwise
4/5

As a handyman, I have installed many, many of these particular mailboxes and deem them to be one of the best. You can assemble a few in less than ten minutes once you've put a few together. For your first one, be sure to follow the directions as they are listed. Aligning the different parts to be screwed together is the most difficult part. It seems that they are never lined up correctly. I would say you have to squeeze it together, but if you do it carefully you should be able to get it to work. My only complaint is the top half is a little wobbly once assembled, but there isn't much you can do about it. I see many of these models around town, and I am amazed at how many are incorrectly installed or assembled. I can imagine how many are so close to the road that they are just screaming at me Using your noodles is all you need to do! It is best to dig a hole about two feet from the edge of the street with a post hole digger. You'll be able to see the second or third foot of the 4 X 4 after dropping the four foot long pressure treated cross-member. Pour cement (50-60 lb bag) and water into the hole around the post, taking care to use a spirit level to make sure the post After assembling the mailbox, it should slide perfectly over the post, and its bottom will rest on the ground. When you are applying the nails to the wooden post, keep the level handy to ensure that the mail box is To install the reflective mailbox numbers, you will need 34" peel and stick decals but you will also need to wipe the mailbox with some alcohol to make them adhere.

The first thing you need to know is that it is okay

It has a post, however, you need to place a wooden post in the ground as well. When you build it, you can slip this over an existing mailbox. Simply cut the old one off and slip this over once it's assembled. Starting at the top, assemble the piece from the bottom up. There is no other way to do it. Due to the fact that they are created by the manufacturer and stacked together, there may not be a perfect fit and the screw holes may not be true There should be only a few spots and the screw heads should not be straight down other than that they will pop up or fall out. The middle two parts should be done first because these first two pieces don't snap together like it would seem. They have to be screwed into place. After that, proceeding to the next piece and then fitting up all the pieces backwards from the top is all there is to it. To install the main mailbox into a post below, you need to screw it in. Slide it on longer with it if you want it to stay put, but make sure you use the screws so it doesn't come You won't be able to secure it correctly if you do not attach screws exactly where Normally you can use a regular screwdriver to attach a mailbox to the top, but you will need an external screwdriver to attach it to the wood post that slides over the mailbox. Without the wood for the post to go over, the device will not work. There will need to be some squeezing done in order to fit because when they are stacked in a warehouse they spread out, so initially it doesn't look like it will fit. There are a lot of screws that go missing because warehouse workers do not properly tape the boxes. The back of this one was missing a door piece for the newspaper section, and the top was untaped due to poor taping. Since I don't get newspaper, I'm fine with it, but if I did I would return it. There is no need to be concerned about its size. Those who believe otherwise, have some problems. It IS wider than a regular mailbox, and has the same height. I'm not a big fan of these instructions. In this case, I used a picture to hint me to do something I had not done, but the picture does not tell me what step to take. As far as putting it together goes, you pretty much need to use common sense, but the instructions are rather misleading. Take the first picture and place the first two pieces on the board. and the rest does not require reading anything as it basically snaps together without looking at anything. It must be done in order if it is out of order If you do it this way, there will be no problem, and it will save you a lot of trouble. The screw at the bottom of the newspaper slot can be done with a regular screwdriver, but the one at the bottom of the mail box needs to be done before attaching the mail box, or else you will need a stubby screwdriver to finish it off. Despite its unprofessional packaging, it arrived in perfect condition. A returning item was not checked to ensure that all parts were included as it appeared someone had returned it without checking. Nothing needs to be changed, as far as I can tell, nothing needs to be changed and I find it odd that the poster It is technically legal to call the mailbox a mailbox with a post because it does have one, however they do not state that the mailbox is hollow and not robust by itself therefore, this anchor needs to be attached to the post. A majority of people should be able to just gut the top off what is already in the ground. The three stars are because once it has been done, it is fantastic. We take two points away for a bad set of instructions, a company that doesn't care what they produce or who buys it as long as they get their money, and missing parts due to a shoddy warehouse production process. You can only get them direct from the manufacturer, not through As part of Amazon's customer service, orders are shipped far correctly and boxes are never allowed to arrive partially open or flimsy. I did not believe it came from Amazon either, as it appeared to be shipped from the main warehouse to a person who then mailed it. The price can be found cheaper at your local hardware store I probably should have bought at the hardware store, but I used this for the convenience. However, convenience does not equal worth my time and money.

There is no point in spending the money

A mailbox like this is what I purchased in May to replace an old one (another brand) that we've had for more than In the other, a van hit it and plowed it over. Even after the first snowfall, this one simply snapped off as the powerful force of snow caught the end of it. I am out of a mailbox until spring because now it is junk. If you live in a cold climate, beware.

Includes the required anchor post but not the optional anchor post! The whole - You get one mailbox and one email address Despite the product description, the Post Combo Kit does not include an Anchor Post! It is advertised as an easy-to-install kit over an Anchor Post
5/5

However, I was misled by the "All-in-One" claim in the product description. It would be foolish for you to think that by including the words "One" and "Post Combo", it would include the REQUIRED Anchor Post! It is necessary to purchase the Anchor Post kit separately. (Home Depot had the Anchor Post for less money than I did.

It's easy to put together and to It helped me understand how to put the mailbox together when I watched a YouTube video. Instructions on the package are not as good as the video. The drill will be necessary if you don't have an extremely strong grip. Neither the 6' post nor the house numbers were included in the purchase. Added to that, a bag of QuickCrete that weighs 50 pounds. Curb-Sale served as the supplier of the house numbers. This is an Amazon sign. I believe I made the right investment by purchasing a "post leveler. " So that the mailbox would meet the USPS's height requirements, the post had to be cut down by about 8" inches. Prior to placing my post and pouring the bag of QuickCrete, I dug about 24" of hole and placed some gravel at the bottom in order to drain the hole. In order to stabilize the post, I allowed the concrete to harden. In order to slide the mailbox over the post (purchased separately) after curing, I slipped it over the post. Using the screws that came with the mailbox, I secured it to the post. Next, I attached my house numbers to the galvanized screws (also galvanized). A separate purchase is required for house numbers. For your information In order to move my mailbox to the street, I moved it from my front porch. Prior to moving, I had to receive permission from USPS. As well as marking the underground gas line, I also dug.
