The item I purchased did not come to my attention until after I purchased it. The post office delivered my package without any issues. There is a mail flag that is recognized as accepted. It is a disadvantage that I cannot see the mail truck pick up when it comes from inside my property.

A 4 X 4 wood post needs to be purchased separately and installed at least 18 inches into the ground before the unit body can be attached. The unit body slides over the separately installed wood post and is then attached using screws provided with the product, which cover the wood post. I am very satisfied with the customer service. Beautifully made and very attractive, this unit stands out from the crowd.

Since I'm a bit of a traditionalist, I tried my best not to like I needed to replace our old one, and my wife liked the way it looked, the features, and the price of this one, so that made sense. We ordered a Simplay3 Classic Plastic Residential Mailbox & Lock set for the wife, because the half of me that is part cheap bastard and part stubborn old fool lost out to the other half that likes to keep the wife happy. Featuring 2 black access doors, this combination kit mounts to a post. I received my order quickly and the packaging was intact. We found the instructions to be clear and simple to follow. In the morning, I put up a 4x4 post that I had purchased. To ensure it grows deep enough, whether you are planting it in the city or in the country, I strongly suggest you put it in enough soil. So, I normally do not leave reviews, but today, my conscience is telling me to write one. When I opened the package, however, I found that parts were missing. I ordered the mailbox and it was delivered to me on time. The Amazon representative told me my money would be refunded. My phone rang about an hour later. It was the manufacturer of the I received the missing parts the next morning after they said they would mail them to me. The fact that they paid to overnight the parts is very impressive. You did a great job with it. I installed it with no problem. The kit includes all the screws that are needed for assembly while also showing the numbers for the address (as seen in the I think that the only downside is. . The height of the mailbox (from the bottom of the door to the ground) is 38'', which is short. But it's better than the old one, which had a shorter height (and my mailman always delivered it). Neither door has been found, nor has the magnet, nor the attachment. As soon as the back door started falling off, we were no longer happy with the mail box. In the end, both doors get stuck in the snow bank, and the mail blows out all over the parkway and into the busy street where we live. The only replacement doors that I've been able to find have been damaged by the snow, so I will have to wait until they're available. I do not understand why the doors attack on the bottom is so flimsy and comes off so easily. It is too simple and does not have a method where it is attached to the wall.
Installing this product was very easy. We had a post, so I trimmed it shorter for mounting the plastic base. If you don't have one, you may need to get one and put it in the ground first. We already had a post, so we just needed to dig one up. I drilled pilot holes in it so that the screws fit easily. It comes with screws for attaching it to the post. As of now, it looks great and I expect it to last a long time. A set of big number stickers for the house number is included, which are easy to apply and easy to see at.
There was just an enormous size to it. Unlike any other mailbox in our city, it is much larger. To return this item, we would need to pay $48 in total! It cost $80 to buy the whole thing! If I return it, I will lose 60% of its value. We decided to keep it, so we decided it was a good decision. Although we like the box, it is really big! I installed the unit easily if I had the tools I needed to drill large holes for the unit to be supported by my old 4x4 poles. Unless you have already cut the pole down for installation, you will have to cut the existing pole because you will only be able to use 24" of the bottom of the old pole. Our house looks quite impressive when this sturdy and heavy duty mailbox is out front. The hardness of an object is not affected by what it is made of, so the sun, rain, or snow don't affect.
It was easy to put together and install, with very good design. Note In the picture, the mailbox comes with different numbers than the numbers shown. They are the stick-on type that comes with the mailbox.
